PROFILE
I am a dedicated, talented, and experienced Registered Nurse with extensive skills. I have over 20 years of proven
professional healthcare experience in Geriatric, Medical-Surgical, Respiratory and Public Health Care Centers. I also
worked as a clinical facilitator, and a charge nurse. I hold a master’s degree in Medical Surgical Nursing as well as
Master’s in human resource management and a PG Diploma in Hospital Management. I am a highly organized, calm,

Handicap Ward

Maintain meaningful social interaction by recreational and leisure time experiences to build social skills and
self-esteem (Special Olympics, social outings, sightseeing and dances).
Identify resources such as parent support group, advocacy group, and financial programs available to the
patient to collaborate care with the families.
Delegate staff to play with child at the appropriate level and work towards achievements of developmental
milestones. Help the Child to develop a set of attitudes and behaviors that will increase motivation.
Administer medication and basic nursing care.
Evaluate the child’s developmental level and assist with tasks within that level. Encourage family’s
participation.
Moreover, as a shift in-charge, in addition to the patents care, I was taking care of ward supplies, ward
allotment for medicines, nurses’ duty schedule, cleanliness of the ward, maintaining a good harmony among
the nurses and other co-workers. I also conducted in-service education for the staffs regarding the patient
care and medicines. We also had discussions about new developments in nursing care.
