Since it is yet to be done, the future tense of the verbs is used.

                        It contained the following parts:
I.                  TITLE
Include all the variables as well as scientific names of the materials that will be used in the study
II.                RATIONALE
a.       The background of the problem. It answers the following questions:
1.         How did you arrive at that kind of problem?
2.         Why do you like to investigate that kind of problem where in fact there are hundreds
of problems out there?
b. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
General Objective – this is related to the problem as given in the early part of the section.
Specific Objective – this states the purpose of each experiment conducted.

C. HYPOTHESIS –include the null and alternative hypotheses

D. DEFINITION OF TERMS – operational definition of terms used in research study
E. REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE AND STUDIES
Sufficient background information should be presented for readers to understand & evaluate the
results of the present study. Only the most important studies and theories written about the topic/study
should be included. Cite all the sources used.

III.              MATERIALS ( in paragraph form)

a. What are the things you need in solving your problem?
b. GATHERING OF MATERIALS - Are you going to buy them or just borrow?

IV.                PROCEDURE (in paragraph form)

What are the orderly steps you are going to do to solve your problem? Be specific with all the
measurements/ units.
A. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND USE OF PROTECTIVE PERSONAL EQUIPMENT (PPE)
B. PREPARATION OF EACH MATERIAL TO BE USED IN THE STUDY
C. PRODUCT MAKING PROCESS
C.  TESTING OF EFFECTIVENESS- State the procedures on how you are going to test your specific objectives
D. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION - How are you going to present the data that you will gather? Will it be through
graphs or tables?

V.              IMPLICATION/ SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

a. In case your problem will be solved, what will be its importance to you as a researcher, the school or to
the community? Will your findings benefit others?

VI.           TIME TABLE
a. How are you going to schedule the making of your project against the deadline set by your teacher? Are
your schedules attainable? ( the proect should start on January until August 2019).

VII.         BUDGET
a.       How much each material you need costs in the market?
b.      How much are you going to spend for the project as a group? How much will be the contribution of each
member?
c.       Do your parents approve your budget? Did your leader inform them about the possible expenses
through a letter?

VIII. Bibliography (list all the cited references) Chicago Style format

IX.              PROPONENTS
a.       Who propose the project? The group names appear here.
