Current positions of the heaps are can be replaced at new locations that would helpful on loading as well as reserve money on direct or indirect ways. The proposal contains the best positions to heap the material, and pile other needs (finished grinding, boulders).

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Quarry is a place where a huge amount of cost being saved. Even that, can be increased by rearranging or modifying some areas in the quarry. One place is the old and new ramps. They are, now not at their best positions. Even they dont follow an exact place to build the heap. So the below proposal is to propose you the best positions for the material mix heaps as well as for the access heaps. This saves more transportation costs, working costs and so on.
BACKGROUND
Material from the quarry is not at the chemistry which we want. So they should be optimized to the requirement. Thats done at the ramps by mix heaps. Apart from that material for additives and material to be used in rainy seasons are piled here. Due to the increment of requirement, heaps are increased. So the need of another ramp was raised. Then two ramps were made. By the time little, little improvements have done to the ramp.
OBJECTIVES
2. Easy to load 3. Less distance to move 4. High capacity 5. Gain best from the allocated areas
6. Less disturbance to others

PROPOSAL
Heap
Plan view of the proposed positions of the heaps to fulfill the managements objectives is as follows.
Gap between 2 heaps Width of the road Width of the H/L heap Length of the H/L heap Width of the finish grinding pile Gap between heaps and ramps
Replacements are done to the finished grinding heap. Normally a train goes to Palavi from here. Once for a day material removes from the
pg.
heap. So the finish grinding heap also should be positioned at an easy place to be removed material and that particular position should be a cost saving position. The new position is in between the low and high grade heaps in new ramp.
Demonstration
Length of the ramp is 228m Distance between zx is 114m Distance between zy is 13m
The wagon loading loader must go additional 111m to get material from x than that of y. so its cost effective using the y place than x.
Gap between the heaps and the ramp should be increased. Current gap between the ramp and the heap is 11m This should be changed to 13m. Because The loader cant handle easily in between the current gap.

SUGGESTIONS
General plan of the ramp is figured out above. According to some factors the way of heaping can be changed. Free fall areas of 2 particular heaps are face to face. Because its easy to cover the heaps during the rainy season. This area has no rain in whole 12 months. So its worthless building the heaps (especially in the new ramp) like below for the whole 12 months.
But this should be well managed and planned. Change the positions when the rainy seasons come closer.

Capacity of a heap General working hours per day of a dumper Trips to new ramp per hour Tonnage of a dumper Dumpers Average daily haulage Days to build a heap
= 12000T = 9hr =4 = 30T =3 = 3*30*4*9 =3240T = 12000T/3240T =3.7 days [If only one heap is building during the work]
Train
Trains which are coming to New ramp To load high Should stop the last wagon at the first post in the ramp close the EDC buildings. To load low Should stop the last wagon at the last post in the ramp at the corner. Old ramp To load high Should stop the last wagon at the first post in the ramp close the offices To load low Should stop the last wagon at the last post in the ramp at the corner.

CONCLUSION
Objectives mentioned above are achievable. Proposal we have presented here gives a much support on the objective achievement. This must be well handled, well managed to gain more benefits. Thats obvious.
