Mail Server Settings

This function helps you configure the mail server. Mail notification, such as alarms notification by mail, is enabled only when the mail
server is configured.

The system allows you to configure a default mail server and a third-party mail server.

In the default mail server configuration, the Require Authentication setting must be the same as the setting on the mail server. If the
mail server performs identity authentication before sending mails, you must select Require Authentication. Typically, mail servers do
not perform identity authentication before mail sending, and do not select Require Authentication.

To configure a third-party mail server:

1.Implement the logic for mail sending by using the method defined in com.h3c.imc.res.mail.func.ThirdMailServerMgr.

2.Open file commonThirdpartyAppContext.xml in a text editor. The file is located at the /client/conf directory in the system
installation path. In the file, add the class configuration information for implementing the
com.h3c.imc.res.mail.func.ThirdMailServerMgr interface.

3.Generate a JAR package of the implementing class, store the package in the /client/repository/commonthirdparty/jars directory
of the system installation path.

4.Restart the system server.
