The architecture of the temple and sculptural work leaves you spell-
bound. The entrance is marked by a tower that has three storeys. All
around the temple you can find fine floral carvings and beautiful idols of
Gods and Goddesses. Around the corridor surrounding the temple, you
can see depictions of various Gods, beautiful carvings of Lord Sri Krishna
and epic stories of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
In this large temple complex you can find other deities like Alwar saints
and Godha Devi (Godha Devi is the incarnation of Bhoomi Devi, Goddess
of Earth) in Alwar style. There is also a "Yaga Sala" (room for performing
Yagnam) and a beautiful mirror room where Lord Krishna is placed in a
cradle. "Pavalimpu Seva" or "lullaby" is performed to Lord Shri Krishna in
this mirror house.
The history of this temple is a normal one and not very old. It is said that
in the year 1953, when one Sri Kadari Venkateshwarulu was ploughing
his land in Nemali he suddenly found the idol of Venugopala Swami in
his field. Later in the year 1957 on 2nd June, the idol was consecrated in
the present temple. There is an inscription in the temple premises that
gives the evidence of the above statement.
Once you are in Gamapalagudem you can avail the local transport to
reach the temple.

Pujas:
During puja an image or any other symbol of the god serves as a means
of gaining access to the divine. This icon is not the deity itself; rather, it
is believed to be filled with the deity's cosmic energy. It is a focal point for
honoring and communicating with the god. For the devout Hindu, the
icon's artistic merit is important, but is secondary to its spiritual
content. The objects are created as receptacles for spiritual energy that
allow the devotee to experience direct communication with his or her
gods.
