N OT E
Artesia and Ultra Wool Chunky are worked together
throughout. The shoulders of this capelet are shaped using
short rows. When working these rows, you will work part
way across a row, then turn and work back, leaving some
stitches unworked. Traditional w&t has been omitted due
to the heavy weight of the yarn.

CAPELET
Using provisional cast-on, with 1 strand each of Artesia and
Ultra Wool Chunky held together, cast on (49, 51) sts. * Knit
17 (19) rows. Mark last row as WS row.
Short Rows: Short Row 1: Knit (30, 32), turn; slip the first
stitch WYIF as if to purl then knit to end of row.
Knit 2 rows.
Short Row 2: Knit (29, 31), turn; sl 1 wyif, knit to end of row.
Knit 2 rows.
Short Row 3: Knit (28, 30), turn; sl 1 wyif, knit to end of row.
