The Lunar New Year usually occurs around the end of January and the beginning of February

according to the lunar calendar and lasts for 3 days. With the meaning of seeing the old year
off and welcoming the new year, Tet becomes a special occasion of reunion for Vietnamese
families.

"Tet" is the word that is very familiar to Vietnamese people whenever we think about our
country. This is the time for family reunion and for people to give love to their loved one. As
for me, I enjoy the warm and cozy atmosphere when all members of my family stay and talk
together
1. How do you prepare for the Tet holiday?

Firstly, all members of my families clean and decorate house together. Secondly, we buy
food, drink such as cookies, sweets, melon seeds...to offer our guests because in this
occasion, many shops are closed. A branch of peach flower or a kumquat tree are the
indispensable items during these special days. Children are the most eager, as their parents
will buy them new clothes. Lastly, we make Chung cake, jellied meat, which are our country's
traditional food on Tet holiday.
2. What are your activities on Tet holiday?

Firstly, Tet is the time where everybody rushes to go home and reunite with family. It’s truly
the time for every generation to gather under the same roof. I’m not the exception. I go to
my countryside to welcome the new year. Secondly, on Tet holiday, Vietnamese adults
usually give children red envelops containing money inside. This set of gift is called “lucky
money” delivered to kids in order to bring them luck in a new year. I sometimes give my
parents and the elderly “lucky money” in the hope of wishing them health, success as well as
happiness. Lastly, I go to the pagoda to pray for health, happiness and luck for my family
during the year.
3. What should be avoided during Tet holiday?

- Argue, swear and say bad things

- Sweep house

- Wear black clothes

4. Why shouldn’t we do it?

- If people usually wish greetings during Tet holidays, it is forbidden to say bad things like death or swear
in this occasion. People also should avoid having arguments and shout at each other during Tet because
it can bring them an inharmonic year. When having any conflict, try to calm down and keep it as peaceful
as possible.

- Another thing people should avoid doing is sweeping the house or emptying the trash bin especially on
the first day of the new year. People believe that if you sweep the floor, all the luck and money will flow
out of your house.
- People are supposed not to wear white or black clothes on the first day of Tet. Usually, white and black
are colors of funeral in Vietnam. As a result, wearing them on the first days of the New Year may
symbolize deaths and unlucky things. Colorful outfits are recommended.

5. How do you know about it?

I was told by many Vnese people, it’s the VNese tradition.

6. Do you believe that?

Yes, I want to have a lucky year and I obey those advice from previous generation.

7. What should we do during Tet holiday?

Pay all the Debts before Tet

The Vietnamese people believe that it is bad luck if still keeping the debts and borrowed
things from the old year. Also, it means they can be stuck in debts in the New Year as they
did in the old year. Thus, they should pay all debts before Tet.

Clean & Decorate House

On the few last days of the old year, the Vietnamese will clean their houses, gardens, and
altars. They also decorate their house with peach trees, balloons, couplets. People in the
South of Vietnam often store their brooms because they think that their assets will be stolen
if their brooms are lost in Tet.

Shop New Clothes

The conception of getting more luck in the New Year, the Vietnamese often buy and wear
new, bright colorful clothes in the New Year. Red, yellow, blue are colors symbolizing good
luck and prosperity. On the other hand, traditional costumes like colorful áo dài and áo gấm
overwhelming in all Vietnamese streets.

8. Do you think those customs will change in the future?

I would say in this days and age, Tet has lost its original spirit and most adults treat it as a normal holiday
in which they can have 2 weeks off to blow off some steam and release stress. However, to me, Tet
holiday is still a distinct festival of Vietnam. Whenever this holiday comes, I feel a strong sense of
belonging because it reminds me of how diverse our culture can be with different rituals and food.
Moreover, I think if Tet holiday didn’t exist, many family members would drift apart due to the hustle
and bustle of life. However, since we have Tet, everyone will have at least one or two days to have family
gatherings and tighten the bonds with other members.

1. How has your Tet been so far?

Yeah, nothing’s special. It is the same as it was a few years ago.

2. What did you do in your 3 days of Tet?

Firstly, Tet is the time where everybody rushes to go home and reunite with family. It’s truly
the time for every generation to gather under the same roof. I’m not the exception. I went to
my countryside to welcome the new year. Secondly, on Tet holiday, Vietnamese adults
usually give children red envelops containing money inside. This set of gift is called “lucky
money” delivered to kids in order to bring them luck in a new year. I sometimes give my
parents and the elderly “lucky money” in the hope of wishing them health, success as well as
happiness. Lastly, I went to the pagoda to pray for health, happiness and luck for my family
during the year.
3. What is the scariest thing about Tet?

Actually, I’m really afraid of doing housework on Tet holiday. I must wash too many dishes after each
meal.

4. What question do you hate being asked during Tet holiday?

There are 2 questions that really drives me insane. The 1 st is about my income, and the 2 nd is about my
boyfriend.

5. Who usually asks you that question?

Of course, my relatives. We don’t often see each other, so the fact that they ask me those questions is
understandable. But they still tick me off.

6. How do you usually respond?

7. Do you think young people like us are overreacting to those kinds of questions?

nbsb

1. Are you a busy person? -> Yes/ a lot on my plate

2. Have you ever pulled an all-nighter? -> Yes, younger, especially at university

3. What was the last time you pulled an all-nighter? -> I confessed to my crush and he refused. I wasted
my time on thinking how well I treated him, how good I was and how bad he was.

4. How did you feel the next morning? -> I felt sad

5. How bad is an all-nighter?

You’re hurting your brain

your brain needs a sufficient amount of sleep to optimize attention and
concentration. if you stay up all night, missing out on the recommended
amount of sleep, your brain will be weary—rendering a sharp decrease in
performance for specific learning and memory tasks.

All-nighters activate short-term, not long-term memory

we only pull all-nighters when we’ve fallen behind and are trying to rapidly
catch up on information or a project. But quickly trying to cram this
information into our brains only uses short-term memory—and long-term
memory is what we need to recall and retain most facts.
You get emotional and impulsive
after a night of sleep people may be more likely to make impulsive decisions
because they’re feeling optimistic. This can be risky, especially if you’re
working in a high-stakes career like being a doctor or lawyer.
6. How to stay awake the next morning after an all-nighter?

After staying up all night, it’s important to get back to a regular sleep schedule as
quickly as possible
Get yourself some caffeine

If you’re tired and need to stay awake, caffeine is most likely the first thing that
comes to mind, and with good reason.Caffeine increases brain activity and
makes you feel more energetic.
Doing exercise
Stretching your muscles and moving around help blood flow, refreshing your mind
and keeping you focused. Take a break every 45–60 minutes.

Make up your sleep debt when you get the chance. If you pull an all-nighter
on Friday, make sure to sleep in on Saturday to restore your body to its rested
state.

7. What is the best energy drink for an all-nighter?

Red Bull
With 80mg of caffeine in a can of Red Bull energy drink, it gives you a
nice energy boost to get you through the night.

At about $2 per can, it isn’t all that expensive either.

However, regular Red Bull has 27g of sugar per 8.4 fl.oz can, which I
personally consider to be a bit much.

But, there are alternatives to this provided by Red Bull. Red Bull has
sugar-free versions such as Red Bull Total Zero, which has the same
contents except with no sugar.

I personally think that Red Bull sugar-free is much better for an

all-nighter than the regular Red Bull.

Since Red Bull sugar-free versions contain no sugar, there is no

potential for you to experience a sugar crash, which is great. Therefore
you can stay awake for much longer without experiencing any decline
in your overall energy levels.

It’s a great energy drink and one of my personal favs whenever I need
to pull an all-nighter to study for my exams.

If you’re thinking about making Red Bull a consistent part of your diet,
check out my other article where I cover what happens when you drink
Red Bull every day.
1. Do you consider yourself healthy?

Yes, I try to look after my body and mind and to feel a little bit better each day. I have a couple of
conditions, but I'm healthy. Being alive is beautiful and I am happy. I'm able to keep learning, growing
and coping. (hump-backed)

2. How do you stay healthy?

- Do exercise everyday/ sit too much in front of the computer/
it helps in maintaining your weight. Moreover, it also helps you reduce weight if you are overweight. It is
because you burn calories when you exercise. Further, it helps in developing your muscles. Thus, the rate
of your body will increases which helps to burn calories. Moreover, it also helps in improving the oxygen
level and blood flow of the body.
- Get a good night’s sleep: sleep at the same time everyday, more than 6 hours per day.
Create a bedtime routine. Doing the same activities just before bed can help you wind down. For me, I
brush my teeth, put on a little moisturizer, roll on a bit of lavender essential oil, and journal or read for a
few minutes before my head hits the pillow
get better quality sleep
- Healthy diet: less sugar, more vegetables.
3. Is eating healthy or exercising more important?
Definitely eating right. I mean people have always told me that you can exercise a lot, but if you’re eating
ice cream and chocolate cake all day, you’re not going to lose weight. When I eat healthy and exercise a
little, I’m doing much better for myself than eating junk and exercising a lot. If you don’t eat healthy you
also won’t have the proper energy to exercise. So yeah, eating is more important.
4. Do you have any unhealthy habits?

A busy person, don’t have time to eat enough.

5. What are the health benefits of playing a sport?

- Reduces Stress: Physical exercise reduces the stress hormones in your body and stimulates
the release of endorphins. These endorphins may give you more energy and focus for
whatever life has.

- Sport improves sleep habits

Sport and other forms of physical activity improve the quality of sleep. It does this by
helping you fall asleep faster and deepening your sleep.

Sleeping better can improve your mental outlook the next day, as well as improving your
mood. Just be careful not to engage in sports too late in the day. Evening practices within a
few hours of bedtime may leave you too energized to sleep!

- Sport helps you maintain a healthy weight

Individual sports, such as running, cycling, and weightlifting, are all particularly effective ways
to burn calories. Staying within a recommended weight range reduces the likelihood of
developing diabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension.
6. Do you think most people worry more about their health as they get older?

Yes, without a doubt! When you're young, you can affort to drink alcohol and
stay awake all night long without damaging your health very much... But as you
get older, your body demands more attention and care, therefore you need to
worry about your health more and have frequent check-ups
7. What could be done to encourage health in your country?

First, the government should provide more adequate facilities for sport in local parks.
This might make playing sports more accessible to the public, especially to those who
are up to their ears in work and don’t find any idle time to hit the gym on a regular
basis.
Second, the government should bring in healthy food rationing on television or social
media so that people are well aware of a balanced diet. At the same time, the
government can raise taxes on junk food so that people can cut down on these fatty
and unhealthy foods.
the government should help to reduce the working hours of workers and the
heavy workload of students with the same pay. So, they have more free time to
participate in a sport or prepare for their own meals at home.
8. Does modern technology have a positive and negative influence on people’s health?

Positive: Rapid advancements in technology exert a couple of beneficial impacts on

people.
Advances in technology help to come up with ideas to develop new drugs and
medicines that can reduce symptoms or cure ailments. As a result, people can enjoy a
better quality of life.
This development also helps to prevent, diagnose, and treat ailments. Also, it also
plays a vital part in eradicating many diseases, and reducing the prevalence of others.
So, people can have a longer life expectancy as a whole.
Negative: Exposing themselves to technological gadgets severely affects people’s
health.
advances in technology cause people to spend more time being
sedentary. In other words, more and more people become mouse potatoes as they
prefer to spend their free time with electric gadgets rather than to go out to take part in
outdoor activities. This is one of the leading factors to some diseases like obesity or
cardiovascular disease.
Moreover, that technological gadgets like mobile phones, computers or tablets hold a
person’s attention for long periods increases the likelihood of eye strain. To be more
specific, this causes blurred vision and dry eyes for users
1. Would you rather work for a big company or start up your own businesses?

2. What are the advantages of working for a big company?

First of all, one can spend more time with his family helping his child do his homework,
fishing with the whole family, etc. Second of all, one has fewer responsibilities. He just does
his job and does not care about the market, competitors and expected profit. One taking a
vacation can forget about all troubles, relax and not worry about who does his job during
his absence. Finally, an employee can always find a more interesting job with a higher
salary.

They will have steady income through their monthly salaries, despite that their companies
might be performing poorly. And then they would have additional benefits from the
company such as medical allowance, annual leaves and company cars as well. Lastly,
companies are also paying the retirement fund for their employees as well.
3. What are the disadvantages of working for a big company?

some people dislike being a professional worker. They feel that they have limited and
restricted time, and sometimes the workload is also unreasonable
4. What are the advantages of starting up your own business?

You have the freedom to make any kind of decision regarding your company,
without being governed by someone else. So the independence is one of the
main reasons. A further reason is the fact that you can have a flexible work
schedule to manage as you wish.
5. What are the disadvantages of starting up your own business?

To start with, there is no guarantee that a self employed person will earn
enough to live a comfortable life. When people work for a company, they have
the assurance of a guaranteed paycheck at the end of the month; however,
when they work for themselves this guarantee is missing. Another
disadvantage is that many self employed people work day and night and do
not get time to spend with their family and friends. Thus, it creates an
imbalance in their work and personal life. Moreover, a huge difference can be
seen in their daily routine which affects their health adversely.
6. Do you think it’s wise to start up your own business at a young age?

If you had started your own business from a young age, you would not have to limit
your income to the salary for a particular position within the company. By starting your
own business, you could feel the direct relationship between the effort you make and
your income growth. So, your earnings could be only limited by your ambitions and self-
motivation level.

7. Do you think it’s good to work for big companies forever and never try to start up a business?

staying for ten years or more on a job can be a positive thing, if

you've gained seniority and leadership opportunities and have more say in
the company. It might say to potential employers that you're dependable
and loyal.

1. Do you enjoy studying Math?
Maths is not really my pet hate, but I couldn’t say that I like it. I’m not good at dealing with
numbers and my brain cannot cope well with complex tasks, but I’m happy to
do straightforward calculations.

 my pet hate (idiom): thứ mình ghét

 cope well with /kəʊp/ (verb phrase): xử lý, đối phó tốt

2. Do you think Math is important?

From my perspective, there is always a need for math in daily life which is why it
is important to learn math in school. For example, it's helpful whether you're
adding or subtracting, or trying to calculate how much the discount is.
3. Is Math the most important subject at school?

This is one of the compulsory subjects from primary to high school and
even university. Math teaches learner about numbers and operation.
Being good at math brings us several advantages. Doing math exercise
improves one’s brain and its brainstorm. Moreover, people learning math
can think more logically and make up one mind. There are many subjects
we can apply mathematics to solve the problem: economics, engineering
and even business.
4. What would happen if we didn’t have math?
Depend on calculators for everything.
5. What can someone do if they don’t like Math?
- Self study is important
- Find a math tutor to help them know this subject inside out.
6. Is it true that a student who excels in Math is also good at all subjects?
Of course not. I see some of my friend who are really bad at Maths but great at languages.
7. In your opinion, what is the most important subject at school besides Math?

English is one of my favorite subjects. This is a compulsory subject for

students from grade 3 and above. Today, English is more and more
popular, so English is a very important subject and must be learned.
English brings us many opportunities.

Firstly, fluent in English helps me communicate with foreigners and

tourists, therefore helping me to know many different cultures around
the world. With a passion for English, I was able to watch English movies
and listen to English music without translation. English also opens up job
opportunities for everyone. It will be easy for you to apply for a job you
love if you have a high level of English.

Today, English is very important, so this is a subject we should not ignore

and need determination to learn better.

3.Do you think females are good at maths?

Hmm, I can’t say. I haven’t noticed whether one gender is better than the other
at Maths. However, I’ve heard the stereotype that women don’t tend to think as
logically as men, so maybe this affects their mathematical abilities.

4. At what age did you start studying mathematics?

Well, I can’t exactly remember, but Math is a compulsory subject in primary
school. All children have to learn this complex subject from the first grade. So I
probably learnt simple addition at that age.

5. Do you like to use a calculator?

Yes, I do love using a calculator to make everything simpler! It allows me to

calculate numbers more quickly without having to thinking much. I just need
to input the figures into the calculator, then the right answers are displayed on
the screen.

6. Who taught you math?

My teachers, with my parents’ help at home. It all started with very basic
equations like “If I take away one of these jelly beans, how many are there?”,
which my parents practiced with me at home, also. But, first and foremost, it
started at school.
1. Have you ever imagined being a boss?

2. How do you describe yourself as a boss?

As a leader, you must be a good listener and communicator. If you are

always speaking you can not do it! Listening to colleagues’ ideas can build
new ideas to build your confidence.
3. Do you think your employees will like you?

4. How do you know when an employee wants to quit?

5. If one of your excellent staff resigns, what will you do?

6. What will you say to convince him/her to stay?

7. What if he/she insists on leaving, what will you say?

1. Can you describe an extrovert?

extroverts are often described as talkative, sociable, action-oriented, enthusiastic,

friendly, and out-going.

Some of the general characteristics associated with extroversion include:

 Enjoys being at the center of attention

 Enjoys group work
 Feels isolated by too much time spent alone
 Likes to communicate by talking
 Likes to talk about thoughts and feelings
 Looks to others and outside sources for ideas and inspiration
 Numerous, broad interests
 Tends to act first before thinking

2. How about an introvert?

Introverted people are described as being reserved, quiet and calm. Introverted people are
sensitive to their environment, and get overwhelmed by too much external stimulation.

3. Are you an extrovert or introvert?

Im an introvert with social anxiety.

Im not very shy but i don't like talking to people. I avoid phone calls . i don't go outside, i
love reading, watching youtube videos and learning new things. And talking to my
crush(sorry we don't talk anymore) i avoid all social ocation and interacts. I hate small talks
but i love meaningfull talks. Sometimes i get irritated because we should go outside and
interact with people . and people will think you are a stupid if you socially awkward
i am an introvert . Coz of the following traits common among all introverts.

1. love to stay alone.

2. hate social life and social interactions
3. can't do short talk.
4. i am very shy
5. I don't speak much
6. Bibliophile.
7. Can't stand in crowd.. simply just hate people.

9. I am always at home . Hate going out for movies parties or any other work
10. My pc.. WiFi and mobile and something to eat is all I need.
4. Why do you think so?

5. What is good about that?

Being an introvert makes for an absolutely good listener. Listening is

an art that is not everyone’s cup of tea, not everybody can master this
art.
There is a 99% chance that
The less people you know, the easier life will be.
whatever gossip you’re involved in, directly or indirectly, you’re
going to get in trouble, major trouble
You can go travel around the world without having to deal with
someone else’s crap. You don’t have to ask permissions or wait for
approvals. You don’t have to share anything, not even food or
anything that you think is better than that. You know how to stand by
yourself and for yourself.

6. What personality do you want to have?

sociable and outgoing

7. Do you think there are some people who can be introvert and extrovert at the same time?

ambivert

1. Big crowds are okay. And no crowd is okay too.

You don’t mind being amongst lots of people and strangers. You may however, be happier not
interacting with these people. Sitting in the middle of the busy food court in a mall, not talking to
anyone is quite alright with you.

2. Small talk is okay. And in depth and intimate conversations are too.

While ambiverts are more drawn to topical conversations with meaning and interest, you are able to
handle small talk too. Talking about The Weather” or “The Kardashians” don’t bring about feelings of
anxiety but find yourself usually immersed in The World and all its things.

3. Loud people are okay. Quiet people are okay too.

You can hang out (and be comfortable) with any type of personality. In fact, if you’re with someone
with lots of energy, you become more reserved, while if you’re with a more reserved person, you’ll
help them come out of their shell in a non-intrusive way of course.

At the same time, you’re able to read different people’s personalities pretty accurately too. This is
especially because you’re able to identify with both, so you know what’ll make them tick and what will
make them more comfortable.

4. Group projects are okay. Individual projects are too.

As an ambivert, you honestly don’t mind working in a team, and you’re able to complete a solo
project too. In fact, there is something to enjoy in both.

5. Your best memory is that party. And that time you were alone.

Ambiverts enjoy both a wild party and an intimate dinner. You’re fine staying home alone cuddled
with a book, good movie or video game. You are completely satisfied by both scenarios.

6. New people and new places are okay. New people in new places aren’t.

You are more comfortable in a space where there is at least one familiar thing. For example, you
don’t mind going to a new place as long as someone you’re familiar with goes along too. Also, you
are able to meet a whole bunch of new people, as long as your surroundings are familiar.
7. There’s a tug of war inside

Because you’re comfy with busy and quiet, loud and soft, staying in and going out, you can adapt to
your surroundings and adjust your energy level accordingly. You have a keen sense of knowing what
type of behaviour is appropriate in any given situation.

As a professional, this is very important as you can discern when the situation calls for you to speak
up, hold your tongue, take action, or just observe. You have several options up your sleeve, each of
which can be played naturally.

At the same time, it is important to find the right balance; too much socialising can leave you feeling
drained; too much alone time could make you feel lonely and withdrawn.

1. Do you like celebrations?

2. Which is your favorite festival?
My favorite festival is Tet. When Tet comes, I will have the cozy atmosphere
with my family. It also gives me many lucky things in new year. These are the
reason why I love Tet.
It’s the time for family reunions as people who work far away from home can
get to spend some valuable time with their loved ones after a long year of
being separated.
3. Why do you think festivals are important events in the working year?
I believe it is very necessary for people to have celebrations sometimes. Firstly, it is fun to
celebrate something with your friends and families and reduce the stress you might get
from your work. The second reason is because celebrations are a great chance for people
to meet their friends and gather together. For example, I and my friends have very little
free time, and we can only see each other when we have celebrations.
4. Do you think the original importance of festivals is often lost today?
I acknowledge that some festivals have lost their original meanings. However, the effort
to reinvigorate our culture has made significant impacts, thus the traditional and religious
of festivals will be preserved into the future. Many young people are growing interest in
their tradition, with the celebration of ancient festivals like The Olympics Games is a
clear evidence.
5. Do you think that new festivals will be introduced in the future? What kind?
6. What role does the media play in festivals, do you think?
In my opinion, the media, such as TV, newspapers and magazines, play an essential part
in every festival. To begin with, they help the organizers to spread important information
about the festivals, such as the time and place where they will take place and also the
interesting activities that participants can enjoy. Thanks to the media, more and more
people will be attracted and come to the festival! Moreover, the media will also post
pictures and video clips of the festivals for those who can’t attend but still want to be
updated.
7. Do you think it’s good or bad to watch festivals on TV? Why?
Festivals can be really crowded and if you’re not careful enough, you may get hurt or
even have your personal belongings stolen by thieves.
We had a really good time but the atmosphere wasn’t as electric as it would have been if
we’d been there in person.
8. How may globalization affect different festivals around the world?
the trend of globalization will inevitably have a serious impact on traditional culture. The
emergence of globalization may lead to regression or even loss of indigenous culture.
This is particularly evident in traditional festivals. For example, Halloween has been very
popular in China in recent years.
During Halloween, many large shopping malls might advance the counter. Some dessert
shops will also introduce Halloween limited dessert. And lots of restaurants may produce
advertisements that correspond to Halloween to attract consumers to dine.
But in fact, China also has a traditional festival similar to Halloween called Zhongyuan
Festival. Unfortunately, very few young people know this festival, and only a few elderly
people still know the traditional customs of this festival. And it is very likely that
Zhongyuan festival may be forgotten in the future. This shows that globalization has
made foreign cultures have a strong impact on local culture.

How do festivals today differ from those in the past?

Well, the first thing I would say is probably the size. Nowadays, festivals tend to be very big even if they
start small they usually grow into events for thousands of people whereas in the past festivals were
generally more local affairs held in the community, so they were much smaller in nature. Also, another
difference is in the past people celebrated events to do with nature and the seasons. I’m thinking of things
like harvests and May celebrations where in my country people used to dance with ribbons around a pole.
This may have been linked to earlier Pagan fertility rites. By and large, although there are still national
celebrations today, an increasing number of festivals are music-related and these attract huge numbers of
people.

How To Move On From Loving Someone Who Doesn't Love You Back
1. Accept the reality of the situation.
While it's easy to dwell in the past and hang on to a small sliver of hope that this person will one day come
around, the best course of action is to accept reality.
2. Give yourself time to heal.
Emotional pains and wounds are the worst to heal from. It might even take you longer than expected, but
in the end, you will find the light at the end of the tunnel. Remember to not hold back and let your feelings
out. If you need help from a mental health professional to express your feelings, feel free to do so.
3. Find a person with the same problems.
You are not the only person who has relationship problems. Many people have experienced the pain of
unrequited love, and they got past it. Tell your close ones about your feelings. Ask them how they survived
it and what they did to release the pain.
4. Do a workout
There are many ways to restore your emotional balance. The most effective of them is physical exercises.
They can help you to get rid of your negativity. Start jogging every morning or go to fitness classes. Go to
the gym or to a swimming pool. Learn how to ride a horse — you will definitely get a lot of positive
emotions from communication with animals.

1. Do you enjoy using technology in education?

I enjoy using computers

2. How is technology used in education?

There are many advantages to relying on tech when managing your

education. One major one is the access to data at any time. With tech, you
will search for information, retrieve your data, or even communicate with
your classmate or tutor at any time you wish.
Online learning are not only for the summer or extended periods of time.
Students can now take online courses on a part-time basis. The key aspect is
that technology, which has come to be an integral part of our lives, will
transform education with technology integration and technology being used
as a teaching tool by teachers themselves. During this pandemic, everything
was forced to stop. But the education of children was still being kept due to
technology.
Children won’t be able to remember everything that’s been taught in class.
However, it can store and recall the information for them. Textbooks are
being replaced with tablets because they’re less expensive and more
interactive than traditional textbooks.
3. Why is learning using computers becoming more popular?

First of all, online learning is time – saving and cost – efficient for students.
Students can learn anywhere and anytime they want. It is very convenient
and flexible. They can also reduce some costs such as rent, real estate,
facilities or location cost. Moreover, learning via internet helps them have
open access to knowledge sources across the world. For instance, student all
over the world now can have opportunities to learn some online course of
Harvard University. Finally, elearning has benefits for teachers as well. They
can keep track of each student performance and provide personal life
training. It helps teachers have an overview of each student’s study
performance.
4. What are the advantages of technology in education?

Firstly, utilizing technology gives the teachers and students the ability to really get into
the subject that they are learning about by creating the amazing illustrations on
smartboards, computers or projectors.
Finally, no more heavy and overloaded backpacks are required. The higher level one
proceeds in education, the more books and tools they are required to bring with them
each day, but this would no longer be a problem if all learning resources are online.
5. Can we replace teachers with computers?

Computers could never replace teachers.

A computer would not be able to provide discipline, safety or care for a child.
Computers cannot keep our children safe. Sitting our children in front of a computer to
learn all that they need to know will take away critical human interaction which our
children need. Computers should be used as a learning tool, not as a teacher.
6. What are the disadvantages of technology in education?

The biggest problem with using technology in education is how distracting it

can be. While many great educational resources can be accessed, there are also a lot
of distractions. Games, video, and music all distract students from what they are
supposed to be doing with their technology.
The final big problem is just how easy it has become for students to cheat. They are able
to simply search for information to a question online and instantly find the answer in
examinations.
7. How can we make learning with computers more effective?

Take care in setting up your home environment

Young minds get distracted easily. Find a quiet, secluded area in your home, especially if you are
preparing recordings or videos or doing live presentations

Assign group and pair work

Your students need social interaction more than ever, but it can be hard to get all your remote students
together for traditional class time. To help your students stay connected to their peers, assign small group
projects or partner projects

8. What are other effective learning means?

Student-centred learning
In student-centred learning approaches, students are encouraged to take an active role in the classroom,
rather than taking part in more passive activities like listening to a lecture or writing an essay. They will
have lots of discussions with their peers and teachers, and they’ll also be encouraged to ask questions.

As a teacher, it’s your job to be an excellent facilitator. You should encourage open communication,
curiosity, creativity and exploration. At the end of a classroom activity, the teacher should urge students to
reflect on what they’ve learnt.

1. What kind of music do you like?

Well, my musical taste varies widely from classical music to contemporary music. However, I enjoy
listening to pop music.

2. What music band do you admire?

Honestly speaking, Big Bang is my all-time favorite music band. It is a band in Korea. I used to be able to
sing along to every song of them and keep myself updated with their massive hits. Now they have stopped
the operation because of the pandemic.

3. How do you know about them?

I have known them since I was in the 8th grade. At that time, they were well-known and respected in Asia.

4. How many members does that music band have? -> 5

5. Why do you admire them?

I think he’s been inspiring to a lot of people, in Korea and in general. Despite G-Dragon and BIGBANG not
releasing any new music in years, the group’s influence is so strong that both older and newer idols are
still inspired by them.

6. What song of theirs do you like most?

7. Are there many famous music bands in your country?

1. Have you ever worked abroad?  Yes, higher salary

2. Is working abroad a good opportunity?
- Gaining knowledge of other local customs and ways of doing things
- Awareness of workplace dynamics of a different country
- Foreign language skills
- Independence in planning living style and work habits
- Awareness of the world and its variety of people and cultures
3. Which country has the most job opportunities for foreigners?
Currently, the UK is the highest paying country to work in and unemployment there is
also low. Brexit will likely have an impact on employment opportunities in the UK,
especially for foreign workers.
Skill shortage is drastic in the UK and industries are seeking out highly skilled
professionals from all over the world to come work in the UK.
4. What are the advantages of working abroad?
- People will be paid a higher salary when working in a foreign nation which makes them
have enough money to spend on their expenditures in life without worrying much.
- Besides the money, they also have a better working environment. They will have more
chances to approach advanced technologies which help them be more innovative and be
easy to gain their success and be promoted faster.
- Furthermore, their lifestyle will change towards more positive sites because they have
many good conditions to entertain and live, especially a less polluted environment and
more healthy fresh air. As a result, their health is better and they have few diseases
5. What are the disadvantages of working abroad?
- The first one is culture which makes people be very hard to adapt. For example, when
living in Korea its dishes are very peppery to eat which makes people be hard to choose a
restaurant to dine.
- In addition, language is a huge barrier to many people that makes them be difficult to
socialize and it influences greatly on their lifestyle and work.
- Most importantly, they have to live far from their relative, friends which make them feel
frequently alone and be easy to dishearten because no closed people beside them when
they need to be encouraged.
6. Is language barrier the most concerning problem for people working abroad?
It depends.
7. What should people consider before deciding to work abroad?
- Expected salary, taxes, and cost of living
Even though your salary abroad might be higher than what you were or could be getting
at home, it is important to take into consideration tax deductions and living costs. First,
find out exactly how much you are going to receive after taxes. Then research
accommodation, transportation, and food prices. This will give you an idea of what
lifestyle you will be able to afford after the relocation.
- Working conditions
Working hours and holiday allowance might also differ from what you were used to in
your home country. Health insurance is a significant factor as well since medical bills
tend to be quite costly almost universally. Check whether your employer contributes
towards health insurance, or consider getting international insurance if you are planning to
move first and then look for a job.
- Family and friends
Moving abroad is a big decision, which certainly affects everyone in your family. Both
travel distance and associated costs will affect how often you will be able to visit your
parents, or if they will be able to come visit you. Think about emergency situations—in
an event of poor health, is there somebody to take care of your parents or other close
relatives? If you are in a relationship, consider the effects long distance might have on it if
your partner is not planning to relocate with you.

Because Humans change over time.
Even within our own lifetime what we consider beautiful changes along with our experience,
exposure and understanding of the world & others, our evolving personal goals etc.
Thanks to which in a nutshell we get “spoiled” overtime and demand more - from ourselves and
others. What was beautiful and exiting yesterday, gradually becomes boring, so everything needs
to become incrementally better to sustain satisfaction & happiness levels.
Beauty is subjective and perceptive. Every day we look into the mirror,
thinking that we could change so many things if we really could. We use
several beauty products to hide what we naturally have and what we
don’t like. But when we try to fit into someone else’s definition of beauty,
do we understand what beauty really is?
Beauty, as the society normalizes it, is having flawless skin, perfect body,
and living up to the beauty standards we see in the movies, magazines of
beauty pageants. But the truth is the concept of beauty can be different
for different people, culture, and society. It basically depends on one’s
own perception.
Other major psychological effects of beauty standards are that we try to
fit into someone else’s definition rather than realizing our own worth. The
most important thing is that beauty comes from within. It should not be a
forced concept that the outside world puts on you.
There is no single definition of beauty. Every color is beautiful, every
body type is gorgeous, and every face is beautiful. Every human being on
this Earth is unique, and hence everyone is beautiful. You should have a
beautiful heart and soul to truly define beauty. A beautiful face alone
doesn’t cut it.
1. Have you ever had your heart broken?  Yes
Almost everyone experiences heartbreak at some point in their lives. But the fact that it’s a
normal part of life doesn’t make it hurt any less.
2. Who or what made you feel so?
3. What things usually make people feel heartbroken?
 living alone or lacking close family around you
 grieving for a friend, a spouse or your partner
 going through a separation, divorce or family break up
 retiring from work, changing schools or jobs, or being unemployed
 living away from home for the first time
 having a language or cultural barrier or being away from your culture of origin
Other reasons to feel lonely or isolated include:
 feeling worried or stressed
 being bullied
 feeling unsure about your sexuality
 having a mental health problem, such as depression or anxiety
 having a physical disability
4. What are some good ways to deal with a heartbreak?
Do your best to accept what’s happened
Heartbreak is incredibly painful, but it’s important to acknowledge it. Instead of trying to numb
your pain, ignore your feelings, or deny what happened, be honest with yourself. You’ve just
gone through an extremely tough experience! It will be really difficult at first, but ultimately
you’ll heal faster if you admit that something bad has happened and allow yourself to feel awful
about it.
Cry it out if you need to
Crying is a good and healthy way to express your feelings. If you feel like crying, let it out. Find
a place where you can be alone, or with a good friend, and let the tears flow. It'll be over more
quickly than you think, and you'll feel a little better after getting those emotions out.
Reach out to a friend or loved one
You are not alone in the world. Look for a trusted friend, a close relative, or a mentor, and tell
them how you feel. Sometimes just getting your feelings off your chest can help you work
through them. Additionally, you never know what help other people can give, whether it's good
advice or just a shoulder to cry on
5. How long does it take to overcome a heartbreak?
there is no definite time to define just when a heartbreak ends.
It varies from people to people, but one thing anyone who’s being through a serious heartbreak
will tell you is that it takes a hell of a long time.
I mean for you it may take a couple of months, a couple of weeks, a couple of years. But that is
by the way because the actual temporal duration of the pain does not matter.
Like relativity, even if it takes a couple of hours those hours will be the longest of your life. Sadly
it will be filled with pain and hurt and darkness like you’ve never imagined and this will make it,
no matter how short it seems to another person, like a lifetime for you.
So to answer the question how long does it take to heal yourself from a broken heart the answer is
a long time.
You have to be prepared because you are in it already and it’s not going to be fun, but one thing
you got to have in mind at all times is that time is a healer and no doubt – absolutely no doubt
whatsoever – you will get over it.
6. How does a heartbreak affect people’s mental health?
 Physical symptoms — such as headaches, feeling ill, having pains, feeling tired,
having sleep problems or lacking motivation.
 Mental health conditions — such as depression, feeling anxious, having panic attacks or
feeling paranoid.
 Low energy — feeling tired or not having motivation.
 Sleep problems — not being able to get to sleep, stay asleep or waking up a lot.
 Diet problems — such as putting on weight, losing weight or losing your appetite.
 Negative feelings — such as feeling worthless or hopeless or thinking about suicide.
 Substance abuse — such as drinking a lot of alcohol, misusing medicines or taking drugs
7. What are some good ways to comfort a person who is heartbroken?
The best thing you can do for yourself is to give yourself permission to feel all of your sadness,
anger, loneliness, or guilt. After giving yourself some space to grieve and tending to your needs,
start looking toward creating new routines and habits that can help you continue to process your
loss.
Go outdoors
Research has found that spending just 2 hours a week outdoors can improve your mental and
physical health. If you can get out to some beautiful scenery, great. But even regular walks
around the neighborhood can help.
Read self-help books and listen to podcasts
Knowing that others have gone through similar experiences and come out on the other side can
may help you feel less alone.
Reading a book (we’ve got some recommendations later in this article) or listening to a podcast
about your particular loss can also provide you with validation and be a supportive way for you to
process your emotions
Try a feel-good activity
Set aside time every day for doing something that feels positive, whether that’s journaling,
meeting up with a close friend, or watching a show that makes you laugh.
1. Are you good at managing your emotions?
Throughout my life, I’ve been deeply affected by bright lights, strong scents, itchy clothing, and
loud noises. At times, it seems like I can intuit another person’s feelings, picking up on their
sadness, anger, or loneliness before they’ve said a word.
In addition, sensory experiences, like listening to music, sometimes overwhelm me with emotion.
Musically inclined, I can play melodies by ear, often guessing which note comes next based on
how the music feels.
Since I have intensified reactions to my surroundings, I have difficulty multitasking and can
become stressed when too much is going on at once.
2. What do you think about people who don’t manage their emotions well?
3. What should people do if they feel depressed?
Do your best to accept what’s happened
Heartbreak is incredibly painful, but it’s important to acknowledge it. Instead of trying to numb
your pain, ignore your feelings, or deny what happened, be honest with yourself. You’ve just
gone through an extremely tough experience! It will be really difficult at first, but ultimately
you’ll heal faster if you admit that something bad has happened and allow yourself to feel awful

them how you feel. Sometimes just getting your feelings off your chest can help you work
through them. Additionally, you never know what help other people can give, whether it's good
advice or just a shoulder to cry on
4. What are the advantages of being emotional?
Emotions prove we are human.
Understanding different views, perspectives and having the ability to connect with almost
everything and everyone.
you can understand people better, be determined as friendly and have more people to talk to, and
you’ll be known as a person with a kind heart.
5. What are the disadvantages of being too emotional?
 Emotional people feels the pain of others as if it was their pain , even the untimely
death of a stray dog in the road accident hurts them like anything.
 They are the first ones to get cheated as they trust easily .
 Emotional and sensitive people are the ones who overthinks a lot even on trivial
things like the maid got ill and now who would feed her children while she was ill.
 They believe their heart more than that of their brain and ends up being failed over
a bad decision.
6. What can’t many people manage their emotions well nowadays?
Time. Time can’t be managed.
We tend to spend more time on the things we enjoy doing at the expense of those tasks we find
distasteful
We tend to work on other peoples’ priorities before we spend time on our own
We tend to work on projects that bring an immediate reward — whether it is money or
recognition — before we work on those that offer an even larger reward sometime in the future
7. What can we do to manage our emotions better?
Remind yourself that this shall pass
However, the bad phase you might be going through, never forget that this too shall pass. The
best part about emotions is that they never last forever. In other words, they come and go
eventually. Whether it is happiness or sadness, they are never a permanent phase in life
Accept
The best way to get over any emotion is to accept the fact. Learn that you have no control over
some things and get past it. Additionally, think of it as a positive phase that showed your
strength. Similarly, take it as a learning opportunity. Time doesn't stop for anyone. It goes on, and
you need to move ahead with it.
 Find the source of emotion
Once you identify the emotion, find the source of the same. It can be a breakup, or death, or any
other tragic incident that can be the source. Additionally, now is the time to find the cause of your
worries and put an end to it. Though your mind might be in a state of chaos, relax and find an
alternative to it.
I use my mobile phone for different purposes every day.
First, I use it to stay in touch with my relatives and my friends more easily. You know,
just by making a video call or sending a message, I can know what they’re up to
irrespective of long distance.
Second, I use it to improve my English ability. This smartphone has a myriad of apps
that play a vital part in my English acquisition. For example, I usually learn new
English words via flashcards and audios in Quizle.
Third, I browse a lot of websites to do a bit of online shopping on a regular basis
Camera phones.
This smartphone, which takes pictures and videos better than a good digital camera. The
concept still quite new, but gradually comes into use. And lovers of photographing
everything and everywhere can be choosing a smartphone photo.
Battery smartphone
The battery in your smartphone has to withstand a day of hard work.
After phone functionality, the more powerful battery it will take faster. And by choosing a
larger number of cores, better display, always looking the for the more powerful battery.
It is important that it lasted a day, so how to find a smartphone with a mode of operation
for two days or more – is unrealistic
Memory
From the amount of internal memory depends on how much information we
can hold in your choosing a smartphone. the phone can not accommodate even
a list of favorite songs, not to mention the desired photos and videos.
1. Have you ever heard about horoscopes?
2. Have you ever read about horoscopes?
3. What does it say about you?
Strengths: Generous, idealistic, great sense of humor
Weaknesses: Promises more than can deliver, very impatient, will say anything
no matter how undiplomatic
Sagittarius likes: Freedom, travel, philosophy, being outdoors
Sagittarius dislikes: Clingy people, being constrained, off-the-wall theories,
details
Scorpios are passionate and assertive people with determination and focus you
rarely see in other zodiac signs. They will turn to in-depth research to reach the
truth behind anything they find important. Great leaders and guides, Scorpios are
resourceful, dedicated and fearless when there is challenge to be overcome. They
will hold on to other people’s secrets, even when they aren’t very fond of them to
begin with and do anything they can for those they tie themselves to.
4. Where do you usually read your horoscope?
5. Do you believe in horoscopes?
Horoscopes may be fun to read, but it is honestly so generalized that it could
relate to anyone. I usually just read them if I'm bored, but I don't believe in
them. Its just something fun to do and it shouldn't be taken seriously. No
offense to the ones who do believe in them.
But once my moon went into Sagittarius, I have basically been a hermit.  I
haven’t wanted to talk to anyone — I have literally not texted anyone
back all day — and I’ve gone MIA on Instagram and Twitter. I have just
wanted to stay home with a good book, a cold beer, and my cat! There is
nothing wrong with that, obviously, but it is so unlike me.
6. How does it affect your feelings?
7. What kind of person will believe in horoscopes?
Everybody likes to hear superlatives about themselves. One of the aspects in
the content is based on positive, praising ‘facts’ about the person. Note that in
every horoscope reading there is not a single truly negative statement. Even
when there’s a sentence related to a negative trait of the person it’s
represented as a positive thing and is related to some solution of a problem or
crisis.
1. How often do you have to give a presentation at work?  Never, but it
happened a lot when I studied.
2. What is the hardest thing when giving a presentation?
As people we develop a fear that we will get tongue-tied, lost, forget what we
were going to say, look or sound ridiculous and so on. It really is just fear of the
unknown.
3. In a Q&A session, how do you usually handle hard questions?
When you are asked a question that you haven't prepared an answer for, you
might need a little time to think through the idea and construct your response.
It's important to use a "thinking phrase" to signal to the audience that you
understood the question and are actively constructing an answer, so they will
wait a short time patiently before you respond to the idea. This will also stop
the asker from repeating or restating the question unnecessarily, which can be
distracting.
Sometimes when you don't know the answer, you'll also not want to venture a
tentative answer, perhaps because the question is beyond your expertise or
because you know of recent research on the topic but not what the results are.

Here are some phrases to indicate that although you are not going to answer
the question, you are not disagreeing with the asker.

 I don't have the data here/at hand (right now), and I need to check it before
answering.
 I'm not sure what the answer to that is, and I don't want to mislead anyone, so I
don't think I can answer that right now.
 I know that AA and BB are researching that, but I don't know what they've
found.
 That's beyond the scope of this research, and I'm not sure how to give a
reasonable answer. But that's an interesting point.
 That would be interesting to find out, but I don't know the answer. Thank you
for raising the question.
 That might be more in the field of X, and I'm not that familiar with it enough to
answer.
4. When there are so many people asking the same question, what do you say?
gather all into an issue, answer all the questions.
5. If time is running out, but there are still many questions, what do you say?
You can also encourage your audience to ask questions after the event has
finished by providing your email address. This shows a high level of respect for
your audience and implies that the topic still has much further scope for
enquiry.

6. How do you end your presentation?

USE CLEAR ORGANIZATION
Like your writing, your presentation should have an introduction, body (with your
supporting points), and then the conclusion.  The easiest way to organize your material
is to have a certain number of points, like three tips or four steps, so the audience can
follow along and know how many more points you have to present.
AVOID ABRUPT ENDINGS
Don't just suddenly stop speaking; instead give the audience cues that the end is near,
such as "in conclusion" or "my final point this morning is..." (And avoid giving "false"
cues, like saying "in conclusion," and then going on for another ten minutes.)
EXAMPLES OF CONCLUSION SENTENCES
·         "As I've demonstrated today, the three year projection for the business is bright
and we expect to continue our excellent performance."

·         "As we've discussed today, there are 5 steps to the process of preparing and
delivering an effective presentation.  Following these steps will help you be a more
powerful and effective presenter."
SAY "THANK YOU" IF YOU WANT AND IF IT'S APPROPRIATE
Some people and organizations are very strict about whether presenters should end by
thanking the audience.  I think either way is fine, as long as it makes sense for that
audience and your choice is deliberate. A feeble, half-whispered "thank you…" that
trails off uncertainly at the end is not effective.
7. What should we do to have a good presentation?
Create an easy-to-follow structure
When it comes to what you have to say, break it down into three simple
sections: your presentation needs an introduction, body, and conclusion.
Limit the amount of copy on each slide
Less really is more, especially when it comes to making a good presentation.
Too much text and the audience will just be reading the screen instead of
looking at you and feeling the emotional impact of your message.
Have a plan for a smooth delivery
With all the prep you’re doing on the content and design of your presentation,
it can be easy to overlook other variables that are within your control for a
stress-free delivery.
Have a practice run-through

Set some rules for asking questions

At the start of your presentation, make it clear when you would prefer to deal with
questions - as you go along or at the end of the presentation.

Some speakers prefer questions to be raised as they arise during the presentation.
The advantage of this approach is that any misunderstandings can be dealt with
immediately. However, there is also a danger that the question will disrupt or distract
the speaker, or that questions are raised that would have been covered later in the
presentation.

If you leave questions until the end, plan to leave plenty of time for questions so that
the audience doesn’t feel rushed.
1. What kinds of places are more popular among tourists in your country?
2. Why do people travel to different tourists sports?
3. What can tourists learn from visiting new places?
4. Will your country and people benefit from more international tourists? How?
5. Is there any negative influence of international tourists have on local people? Why is so?
6. Why do you think tourism is so developed now?
7. What kind of transport do you prefer on holidays? Why?
8. Do you prefer traveling alone or in tour groups? Why?
1. Do you usually lie?
I have lied before and yes I felt guilty because I was taught by my parents that it is wrong and I
understood that it was wrong. Nowadays, honesty is very important to me. I also expect honesty
from others.
2. What makes you tell a lie?
Sometimes it depends on what I’m lying about. For example if I'm lying to hide my feeling
about how I like (let's say) a friend's new outfit, I don’t feel bad about that because I'm trying
not to hurt their feelings.
Sometimes i tell lies because I'm afraid of hurting someone's feelings, to avoid a potential
conflict, or it's something i just don't want to talk about something. They are often referred
to as little white lies, which are told to mean no harm. It is never a good thing to lie. As far as
lying to intentionally deceive someone I don't.
3. Which one is harder: telling a truth or lie?
Truth is always preferred over lies. A lie or a false hope can give you momentary happiness but
in the long run when that lie is exposed, then one has to bear the bitter consequences of it. Also,
stating the truth lets one stay at peace. When u lie to hide a matter, u have to say a string of lies
then just to justify ur lie. Thus making one conscious of his very being and nervousness follows
it. A fear also develops as in what would happen if anyone catches my lie, thus becoming restless
at times.
So, I would just say prefer truth over lies because a lie would give you momentary pleasure but it
can ruin your relationships with people. Saying a lie also creates a distance between you and your
eternal self i.e. your soul.
Be honest, be happy!!
4. Why is that?
5. Why do many people tell lies?
Sometimes it’s to protect the liar from being punished, or to protect someone else from
punishment. The lie might be to avoid being embarrassed, to hide an awkward situation,
or to simply have others think better of the person telling the fib.
The most common reason why we lie is to make ourselves appear better, bigger, more awesome,
more virtuous, more talented.
We lie in a misguided attempt to make someone happy, to make another person like us more, to
keep someone else from something we have done that we wish we could take back or just keep a
secret.
We lie to make things easier. Because we are under the mistaken impression that a quick lie saves
us from a long explanation. (Spoiler: it doesn’t.)
We lie to escape consequences we don’t want to face.
Underneath nearly every lie is the fear that we are not good enough
6. What are the advantages of telling the truth?
1. You don’t have to remember your lies.
Once you have told a lie, you need to remember that lie so as not to contradict yourself in the
future. This can create a state of anxiety as you worry about being in a situation where you could
be ‘found out’. If you never lie, you don’t need to worry about your lies being discovered and
you’ll live a happier, less anxious life.
2. You’ll earn trust and respect.
Constantly telling the truth will earn you trust and respect from friends, family and work
colleagues.
3. You’ll create deeper connections with people.
Telling the truth shows a willingness to openly express your feelings and private thoughts. This
behavior encourages others to reciprocate, deepening friendships and relationships.
4. You’ll feel more confident.
Being truthful with other people means we are also being truthful with ourselves. We can take
pride that we are not betraying our own thoughts or beliefs which can build our self-confidence.
If you are interested in building confidence, please read my article on how to appear
confident and my review of the best confidence building classes available online today.
5. Trust creates opportunities.
If a work colleague is aware that you are not always truthful, they will not be able to trust you
and will be guarded in their dealings with you. If your colleague believes you are an honest
person and to be trusted, friendship, information, and opportunities are more likely to flow your
way.
6. Lying takes energy.
Every time you need to decide whether to tell the truth or lie and if you decide to lie, what will
the lie be, you are using energy. If you are facing this dilemma multiple times a day it can be both
mentally and physically taxing.
7. You won’t get caught lying.
Getting caught lying is embarrassing. If you always tell the truth you can’t get caught out!
8. Truth attracts truth.
100% truthful people are rare in today’s society and are an important and valuable commodity.
People who tell the truth are instinctively drawn to other honest speaking people. Being honest
can bring you better quality friends and acquaintances.

7. What are the disadvantages of telling lies?

Someone who constantly lies to others will make people never trust in them
anymore; having the risk of losing their friends, job, and relatives. This may cause
the anger of those who are around you loving and taking care of you.
One lie is followed by another, or by twenty lies more. Because after someone begins
saying a small lie he or she has to keep saying more and more lies to make others
believe the first one. A person who deceives or lies would never have clean and
correct paths. Most of the time people tend to lie for escape from troubles, but it is
worse to lie because after we did it; we will create a bunch of small troubles that will
end in a bigger problem. Lies guide a person to serious and dangerous consequences
because one day they will be uncovered
8. Could you detect who is lying?
Learn it like a baby. A baby doesn't care much about the grammatical structure of his or her language
while learning to communicate in it.
A baby starts learning basic grammar of his or her language at the age of 6 or 7.
Same applies to learning a foreign language. First take the dip into an atmosphere where you learn
easy contextual phrases in the target language. Then slowly & steadily work on the grammar

 Find a Conversation Partner: If possible, it’s best to find a native English speaker with
whom you can practice your English. If you don’t know anyone in your direct network,
consider finding a tutor. Otherwise, you can always find someone online to digitally connect
with and practice your conversation skills.
 Make Sure To Listen As Well As Speak: One of the best ways to understand the formulation
of sentences and build your vocabulary is to listen to people speak. Try listening to podcasts
and recorded conversations. From YouTube to real-life conversations, there are so many
places to access English speaking.
 Record Your Conversation Practice: When it comes to speaking, you will likely make
mistakes. But you have to be open to making mistakes so that you can learn from them. If you
record yourself speaking with your conversation partner, you can play it back and learn even
better. That way, you can track your progress and pick up on pronunciation.
 Surround Yourself With The English Language: English is everywhere. No matter where
you live, you can find menus, marketing materials, books, movies, road signs, and more with
the English language. The more you immerse yourself and pay attention to these daily pieces
of English, the stronger your foundation will be.
 Practice With Music and Movies: Most people like to relax and unwind with some music or
entertainment in the form of movies. You can choose to watch movies in English, or instead,
watch them in your native language with English subtitles that you can read.
 Read Aloud: If you like to read more than speak and make up your own conversation, try
reading out loud. That way, you can hear yourself pronounce the words and remember them
more because you are both seeing and reading them.
 Talk To Yourself: If you’re still unsure whether you’re ready to put your speaking skills to
the test, simply talk to yourself! The more you practice with yourself, the better your English
skills will become.

1. Do you think that you are a show-off?

2. What kind of things do you like to show off?
3. How do you feel about showing off on social media?
4. Why do people like to show off on social media?
5. What are the drawbacks of showing off on social media?
6. Are there any benefits when show off on social media?
7. What should people do to show off without offending others on social
media?
My greatest fear of getting married is the uncertainty that comes with it.
Marriages are no longer what they used to be. There tends be infidelity of all
sorts these days that probably leads to divorce. The truth is I don't want to
experience unfaithful in my marriage. I am happy being single than to get into a
lifetime affair that would bring me close to an early grave.
Honor and Respect Your Partner

People inevitably change over time. Understanding, appreciating, and adapting

to those changes is critical for any relationship. Start by making a list of your
partner's best qualities to remind yourself of the wonderful person you
married. This exercise will help you remember why you fell in love with them in
the first place.

Communicate Regularly

In the age of smartphones, Netflix, and work-from-home lifestyles, it's easy to

get distracted. You might find that you often go days without having a real
conversation with your spouse.

Communicating openly about your life, interests, dreams, frustrations,

and feelings is an important way to foster intimacy in a relationship
Share Financial Expectations
Couples often bring different expectations about money to a relationship. Each
partner can find it difficult to see the financial situation from the other person's
perspective.

Coming to an agreement about how your money will be handled is a critical

component of a successful marriage. Agree on a budget, an approach to debt,
and make a plan to live within your limits.

1. The most severe problem in terms of the environment in my hometown might be air
pollution. The air is becoming seriously polluted in recent years. Actually, this issue
results from the heavy volume of traffic on every corner of the hometown. Also, some
factories located surrounding my hometown emit a great deal of smoke and carbon
dioxide into the atmosphere. So, the air in my hometown is becoming more and more
contaminated.
2. Solve the problems
Using public transport is a sure short way of contributing to less air pollution as it
provides with less gas and energy, even carpools contribute to it. In addition to less
release of fuels and gas, using a public transport can also help in saving money.
Plant more trees and greenery
Supporting local garden initiatives (or starting your own) can help improve the long-term
air quality in your local neighbourhood. Plants help clean the air around them by
consuming CO2.
Reducing the consumption of coal. Burning it releases elements like mercury and arsenic,
and small particles of soot which contribute to air pollution. When we breathe it in, that
soot harms our heart and lungs and even increases our risk of strokes.
3. Why we should be concerned about the environment?
4.
5.
Ppl should protect nature. There are a variety of benefits of protecting places of natural
beauty, two of which are environmental and ecnomic benefits.
First of all, one of the most widely recognized favorable influences of natural beauty is
environmental benefits. For example, people try to protect natural beauty, which  can
make it easy for people to live comfortably because the better protected the places of
natural beauty, the greater the number of healthier people. In addition, the number of
places of natural beauty should be increased because when this is the case, harmful gases
produced by factories or people may be decreased and the air may become cleaner.
Secondly, another positive impact of protecting places of natural beauty is economic
benefits. For instance, if a country protects its natural beauty, both its own citizens and
people living in other countries can visit it. People come to see it, which provides
economic power for the country.
1. Have you ever told lies in your life?
I have lied before and yes I felt guilty because I was taught by my parents that it is wrong and I
understood that it was wrong. Nowadays, honesty is very important to me. I also expect honesty
from others.
2. Did your lies cause any problem?
3. Are you often telling lies now?
Sometimes it depends on what I’m lying about. For example if I'm lying to hide my feeling about
how I like (let's say) a friend's new outfit, I don’t feel bad about that because I'm trying not to
hurt their feelings.
Sometimes i tell lies because I'm afraid of hurting someone's feelings, to avoid a potential
conflict, or it's something i just don't want to talk about something. They are often referred to as
little white lies, which are told to mean no harm. It is never a good thing to lie. As far as lying to
intentionally deceive someone I don't.
4. Is telling lies always immoral?
A lie is not necessarily immoral. Instead, it can be benign and beneficial. There are occasions in
life on which people have to conceal part of the truth or even twist facts. For example, it is
acceptable if one withholds a fact from a friend or family member that he or she
is diagnosed with cancer. It is to give the patient a peaceful frame of mind, a condition that has
a healing power. From this example, one can observe that while a falsehood is condemned by
many on ethical grounds, it in fact shows sympathy and goodwill.
5. In which circumstances is telling lies considered depraved?
Sometimes it’s to protect the liar from being punished, or to protect someone else from
punishment. The lie might be to avoid being embarrassed, to hide an awkward situation, or to
simply have others think better of the person telling the fib.
The most common reason why we lie is to make ourselves appear better, bigger, more awesome,
more virtuous, more talented.
We lie in a misguided attempt to make someone happy, to make another person like us more, to
keep someone else from something we have done that we wish we could take back or just keep a
secret.
7. Is honesty always good and necessary?
White lies are harmless and can be socially beneficial. For example, sometimes people tell a lie to
prioritize another person’s feelings over truthfulness. If someone cooks something on their own
just for you, and it just doesn’t taste good then perhaps it’s better to lie and say it tastes good.
Since our childhood, we have been taught to spare others’ feelings, rather than speaking the
straightforward certainty that can hurt others’ feelings.
8. Will you assess a person who always speaks bluntly about what he thinks is smart?
1. Have you ever considered getting a tattoo?
2. What should be considered before getting a tattoo?
3. What do you think about people with tattoos?
I think they're people. They're people with or without tattoos.
I don't understand why people have tattoos all over their faces or heads etc. But still, their body,
their choice. It doesn't define them.
Mostly I think tattoos represent personality and individuality.
4. Why do you think some people want to get tattoos?
People want to get tattooed for a variety of reasons. To remember a particular moment of their
life. To commemorate the death of a loved one or a pet – these are called memorial tattoos. Some
people get spiritual tattoos to remember a change in their life as a result of a religious event or a
supernatural force they have felt. Then there are those who get it merely because it is fashionable
5. What are some common stereotypes about people with tattoos?
In the past, many countries used tattoos to mark criminals, to separate them from the majority
and to deter people from committing crimes. In China, for example, authorities would tattoo the
faces of prisoners who committed severe crimes before they were banished to another land.
Tattooed people are often stereotyped to be gang members. This is true to a certain extent
because tattoos have become a popular method adopted by gang members to mark their group
identity and their alienation from the mainstream norm and social networks. Gang members in
particular take pride in branding themselves as outside of the boundaries of conventional society.
6. Why do people often associate tattoos with negative things?
Firstly, the way tattoo was used in the past, the fact that gang members do use tattoos as an
identity and lastly, the image created by the mass media. Television dramas and movies have
portray tattoos in the bad light, using tattoos as way to identify criminals, villains and gang
members. Mass media which includes the newspaper, movies and television has always been a
great power of influence of people, affecting our viewpoints, decisions, perceptions, beliefs and
even our habits in life. This is because, advancement in technology has made access to mass
media content easier to everyone, so much so that it has become a tool for people to obtain
knowledge of the world.
7. Does having many tattoos create difficulties when looking for a job?
Tattoos impede one's chances of getting a job. Regardless of who the real person may be,
stereotypes associated with tattoos can and do affect others. In general, individuals with tattoos
are often viewed as 'rougher' or 'less educated.
8. Is the VNese society nowadays more accepting tattoos as an artform?
With their inked bodies, increasingly popular in Vietnam thanks to the development of the
Internet, international stars have enticed local youngsters with the lure of body ink.
Many Vietnamese celebrities, including leading national footballers, have also picked up on the
trend, spreading the love to their fans.
With inked bodies often exposed via newspapers, TV, YouTube and social networks, many feel
more open to the idea.
In fact, the law does not ban people from having their body inked, even in the army.
1. Can you swim when you were a child?
2. Is swimming very popular in your country?
Yes, our country is famous for lakes and big rivers. So swimming is very popular here.
As far as I’m concerned, swimming is the only and most prevalent water sport in Vietnam.
Snorkeling and kitesurfing have recently been introduced to beach resorts but not many people
play these water sports because they are not affordable.
3. Are there many places where children can learn to swim in your hometown?
No. unfortunately. I live in a city where there are very few places to swim. We only have some
swimming pool centers.
4. Do you think children like swimming?
People always have wonderful illusions about the sea, especially inland children. The sea in their
minds is a magical and picturesque place. Seals on the beach and dolphins in the water , From
time to time there are whale spouts. Although adults know that this is impossible, they can't stop
children from looking forward to it. However, even without these things, taking children to the
beach is a very good choice.
5. Do you think it is important for children to learn how to swim at an early age?
There are many more reasons for swimming, so it is important for children to learn to swim at an
early age. It will help you in building a better and healthy life for your children. It will make your
children healthier and energetic. Swimming is a skill that can be mastered at any age but is best
when taught early on so the swimmer can have a life of enjoyment and exercise.
6. What are the benefits of swimming to children?
Reasons why your child should learn to swim are many and varied. You need to give your child
the chance to learn to swim.
The most important reason is that swimming is the only sport which can save your child’s life.
Drowning is still one of the most common causes of accidental death in children, so being able to
swim is an essential life-saving skill.
Swimming is lots of fun for people of all ages and children especially love getting in the water
and enjoying themselves.
But it is not just fun, swimming also provides loads of health benefits which can help to keep
your children healthy and happy at the same time:
 Swimming keeps your child’s heart and lungs healthy, improves strength and flexibility,
increases stamina and even improves balance and posture
Another great thing about swimming is that children of any age or ability can take part and it is
more accessible for children with additional needs than almost any other sport.
 Swimming provides challenges and rewards accomplishments, which helps children to
become self-confident and believe in their abilities
 Your child will have plenty of opportunities to make friends and grow in confidence
7. Can learning to swim help children avoid drowning?
8. If you have children, do you let them learn to swim?
1. Do you love reading book? Why?
Well, reading is part and parcel of my daily activities because it’s an excellent means
of entertainment. As an introvert, I don’t befriend many people and books have
become the closest friends of mine.
1. WHAT KINDS OF ADVERTISEMENTS DO YOU WATCH?
Well, I don’t go out of my way to watch advertisements. But the ones I tend to see on
videos I watch are usually for things like clothes or books, since that is the bulk of my
online shopping habits. The internet then shows me ads based on my browsing history.
2. DO YOU WATCH ADVERTISEMENTS FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END?
Most advertisements make you watch the whole thing, especially if they pop up in the
middle of a video you’re watching. But if I have the option to skip them, I always do. I
would rather just focus on the thing I wanted to see in the first place. Sometimes ads can
be interesting, but mostly they’re just annoying.
3. HAVE YOU EVER BOUGHT SOMETHING BECAUSE OF ITS ADVERTISEMENT?
Actually, yes I have! I once bought a pair of wireless headphones because I kept seeing
advertisements for them. They were pretty expensive, but the ads made them look so
convenient. Plus, they were fairly stylish for that kind of accessory. So I decided to take the
plunge and I actually loved the product.
4. Are there any advertisements you like?
5. What is the purpose of advertising?
One of the most widely accepted purpose of advertisements is to increase the recognition
of a brand name or product. When a new product enters the market, it does not easily gain
the favor of the buyers unless they are well informed about it. That is, an awareness about
the product must exist before a favorable attitude toward the brand can be developed.
In some cases, advertising is used for the purpose of persuading the customer to place an
order for the product. Mail order houses through leaflets and catalogs, advertise their
products in such a manner that customers are convinced of their value and are tempted to
write to the institution to get the product without going to a shopping mall or without
going into further details about the product.
Reminding buyers to use the product:
For discretionary items having an irregular or unusual pattern, an appropriate advertising
policy must aim at stimulating the primary demand. To attain this objective, the buyers
must be reminded not only to use the product but also to restock it.
6. What makes an advertisement effective?
Well … when a company launches a product they have to consider the Internet …
especially how it can be used to spread the word on social media … so in this context a
video that goes viral is probably the most effective type of advert you could make.
7. Do you think that advertisements should be strictly regulated?
Advertising needs more regulation. During a commercial, many claims can be made that
are purposely misleading. Advertisers try to make up for this by having fine print that
fully explains their claims, but the fine print will not be viewed by the majority of people
since its brief and hard to see. This allows advertisers to essentially get away with false
advertisement on a regular basis. Customers often expect something different from what
their purchasing and are left disappointed. Stricter regulations will protect consumers
from misleading and false advertisements.
8. How important is it for advertisers to tell the whole truth in advertisements?
To make a well-informed decision about a product or a service, you need accurate
information, not information that’s misleading. All advertising has to be truthful, and not
mislead consumers by lying—or bending the truth—about the product. It’s the law. ads
can’t be unfair.
1. Is your mother good at cooking?
Without any doubt, the answer is YES, my mother’s cooking is best. it will be delicious
and yummy. In fact lots of my friends has said to me that my mother’s recipes were
always delicious by tasting my mother’s recipes.

One of the greatest forms of family bonding. This could possibly be a way to create
special moments with your loved ones in the kitchen.
3. Is it important for girls in general to be good at cooking now? Why?
There are numerous reasons behind it that indicate that learn how to cook is pivotal for
youngsters. Firstly, food is required for everyone, the children can easily be hungry and
need more food than adults. Secondly, in these educational times, young people live away
from homes for higher education hence acknowledgement of cooking dishes is beneficial
for them, although spicy food is deleterious for the body as well as expensive.
4. If a woman is a housewife, does she need to be good at cooking? Why or why not?
Women are a strong foundation of a strong family. Meal preparation at home is one way
to bring your family together. It is like giving and sharing the love for each member of the
family. Everyone can be involved from preparing the ingredients to cooking the food to
washing the dishes. Your little kids can read the recipe or your older children can chop
some vegetables or other ingredients needed.
5. So if she is a working woman, does she need to be good at cooking? Why or why not?
It creates balanced meals
Carefully planning your menu gives you the time to create balanced meals that contain
vitamins, minerals, protein, fat, and carbohydrates – everything your body needs. Once
you eat these healthy meals, you will feel more satisfied and stronger than ever. There is
nothing more important than serving your family with nutritious food at all times.
It lets you save more money
Cooking your own meals absolutely saves you a lot than buying prepared meals or eating
on restaurants. It is actually a practical way for families who are on a tight budget or
simply prefer home- cooked food than fast food or the like. Moreover, if you still have
leftovers, then you may recreate a new recipe out of it. You can bring it to work or school
– saves you the hassle of buying food for lunch.
6. What happens if a housewife can’t cook well?
7. What about men? Do they need to be good at cooking in married life? Why or why
not?
I believe that women should be treated equally to men.
This is the best education for our children – showing them that we have to treat both sexes
equally.
Yes, it is. Every man should know how to cook. It’s high time for us to get rid
of the stereotype that cooking is a woman’s job. Now, both men and women can
be breadwinners of a family and bring home the bacon. That’s why household chores
should be shared between both wives and husbands and cooking is no exception.
Husbands who can cook can contribute to ensuring gender equality, I suppose.
