Web-Based Planning - Customers


Using this app, you as a customer can collaborate with your supplier on key gure data in a planning process. You can view and
change key gure data for shared key gures, thereby communicating your demand for products that you buy from your
supplier.

Purpose
With this app, you can view key gure data that your supplier has shared with you and change this key gure data to provide
your inputs. For example, in a demand planning process, your supplier wants to nd out about your demand for the products
that you buy from them. Therefore, your supplier shares the forecast for the products with you. You can then review this
forecast and enter your demand. Your supplier can then use this information for further planning purposes.

You can view the key gure data in a so-called planning view. A planning view is a grid-like view that includes the dimensions for
which you are planning, for example, a speci c product at a speci c location, and associated key gure data.

Key Features
You can use this app to do the following:

View and change key gure data at any available level of detail

Create, copy, edit, and delete planning views

Simulate the effect of key gure changes to the planning view

Filter to look at key gure data from speci c dimensions, time levels, and time intervals

In addition, you can do the following in this app if the IBP owner has enabled the feature:

Create, copy, edit, promote, reset, and delete scenarios

See xing information for key gure data. Fix and un x key gure data to protect it from unintended changes

View information about key gure values in the form of planning notes that your business partner created

Provide information about key gure changes in the form of reason codes and comments (can be captured when
saving the changes)
