1. Identify the characteristics and properties of 3 states of matter.
2. Compare and contrast the properties of solid and liquid, liquid and gas.
3. Give an example of each three states of matter.
4. Participate in the class discussion.
5. Perform simple experiment to identify properties of matter
III. PROCEDURE
1. Preliminary Activities
a. Prayer
Dear God,
Thank you for looking after our school.
Thank you that you love each and every one of us here.
Help us to learn, play and share together.
It’s incredible that you are there every second of the day,

2. If you touch the table, what do you feel with the table?
3. What are they called?
b. Abstraction
Presenting the New Lesson

of paper and write their observations.
Generalization
The students are expected to answer the following questions from their teacher:
1. What are the properties of solid?
2. What are the properties of liquid?
3. What are the properties of gas?
IV. EVALUATION
Directions: Choose the best answer
1. Choose the three answers that are states of matter
Solid
Air
Water
Liquid
Weather
Gas
Matter
Space
V. ASSIGNMENT
Identify objects in your own house, then classify them according to the 3 states of matter
you have learned today.
