The script 2A

Beginning:

Narrator: Once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away, there was a forest, where
there was a little cottage. The small Ivanushka, and his sister lived there. He went
outside with his sister and saw an ugly duckling in the pond.
Ivanushka: Masha! Can you go outside with me? 
Masha: Sure, let's go to the forest 
narrator: (they walk into the forest and see lots of kids playing and talking he
spots the ugly duckling in the pond) 
Ivan: Masha look a duckling, can we take it home? 
Masha: only if you promise to take care of it well. 
Ivan: alright I will take good care of it and make sure it never gets hurt, I will feed
it and it and give it water 
Ivan: come here duckling I will tell you a story about a which named babushka
who lives in a dark forest. She eats people and she is very out of control.  
Narrator: After Ivanuska told the ugly duckling the whole story and they arrived
home, he got really thirsty, so he told his sister.

Climax:
Sister: Oh no, there is no water in the well.
Brother: Yes, it is all dried up.
Sister: I will be going to get some water; I will be back in a moment.
Brother: Come back fast
Narrator: (She goes to a pond)
Narrator: (She saw some ducklings)
Duckling 1: Ewww, she looks so ugly
Duckling 2: Humans are so disgusting
Duckling 3: If I were you, I would never leave my house.
Duckling 4: Exactly
Narrator: (She pitches water and runs away)
Sister: Waaaaaaaaaa (Cries)
Narrator: (She goes back to bring her brother the water, but he is already drinking
from a random puddle)
Sister: No, don’t drink from that puddle!
Brother: I feel strange!
Narrator: (The brother then turns into a goat)
Sister: Nooo
Narrator: (Ivanuska investigates the puddle and sees his reflection)
(The brother then runs off because he was frightened by his own reflection)
(His sister starts chasing him)
Sister: Come back Ivanuska, come back
(She stumbles into the man with the horse
Man: Fair maiden, what is wrong?
Sister: My Brother Ivanuska, has run away
Man: I will help you find him
(Babushka sneaks up behind them holding goat Ivanuska)
Babushka: If you want to see your brother again you must complete these three
tasks. Go to the pond and face the discrimination that the duckling will throw at
you. Secondly, you must survive a natural disaster. Thirdly and finally, you must
get your brother away from me.
Sister: We will complete your stupid tasks.
(The man and the sister go back to the pond)
Man: Ok, we have to complete them fast, who knows what she will do to your
brother
Sister: I will do anything to get my brother back
(They go back to the pond and immediately the ducklings start to insult the sister)
Duckling 1: Aha, she’s back, the ugly human
Duckling 2: Eh, the mother who gave birth to her
Duckling 3: Her look gives me eye cancer
Duckling 4: Oh look, she feels sad, what a tragedy (sarcastically)
Narrator: (The sister starts crying)
Narrator:(After she has calmed down and they overcame discrimination yet there
is a storm coming)
Sister: Oh no, this must be the natural disaster that the witch was talking about.
Man: We must get to safety
Narrator: (Before they can get way, the storm becomes too hard to handle)
Man: HELP!
Sister: Somebody please help us!
Narrator: (Queen of heaven turns up out of nowhere)
Queen: I will help you, now I will calm the storm and you will run towards the
center of it. You should be safe there.
Man: Thank you, we are forever indebted to you.
Queen: You are welcome, this is my job.
Narrator: (The queen vanishes and the storm calms down)
Narrator: (They walk into the forest and come across the witch who is trapped in
a cage)
Narrator: (The man lets the tiger out of the cage)
Sister: No, don’t let her go
Man: Why?
Sister: Because she will kidnap you just like she did my brother
Man: oh no.
Sister: (whispers) Lets lure her back into the cage and take Ivanuska back.
Narrator: (They use the man as bait to trick the witch back into the cage)
Narrator: (As they lock her in the cage, they question her on where Ivanuska is)
Babushka: He is in your house.

Ending part:
The babushka uses her magic staff to get back to the cottage and disguises herself into her twin
(the old lady).
The guy on the horse takes them to the cottage.
AT THE COTTAGE – LATE EVENING
The sister opens the door.
Sister: (surprised with seeing the witch) Who are you?!
Babushka: (calmly) I am the twin of the witch. I am here to help.
Sister: (relieved) Oh thank God, I thought you were the witch!
They all go inside
Goat: (yawns)
Sister: It is time for bed, see you tomorrow.
Babushka: Yes, good idea, sleep well.
The guy on the horse, the goat and the sister go to the bedroom.
The old lady: (mumbling because she has tape around her mouth)
Sister: (In shock) WHO ARE YOU?!
The old lady: (mumbles)
The guy on the horse takes off the tape from the old lady’s mouth.
The old lady: SHE IS THE WITCH! SHE TOOK ME HOSTAGE AND NOW IS PLANNING TO EAT THE
GOAT! YOU NEED TO STOP HER!
Sister: Why should we believe you?
The guy on the horse: You really think that she would tie herself up?
Sister: (annoyed) true, probably not.
The guy on the horse: How do we stop her?
The old lady: First free me then I will tell you how to destroy all the spells she has ever done.
Sister: (to the guy on the horse) Should we really trust her? I mean, how can we trust her? For
all we know she could be the witch.
The guy on the horse: I think we should. She seems genuine.
The guy on the horse: (to the witch) we will free you but on one condition. You must promise to
tell, and you cannot run. Deal?
The old lady: Deal. Now get me out of this.
The sister unties her and gives the rope to the guy on the horse.
Sister:(Whispers to the guy on the horse) Keep this in case she runs away.
The guy on the horse takes the rope.
The old lady: ah, finally. All right, to break the spell you must destroy the staff of the witch. All
her magic comes from there.
The guy on the horse: I think we shouldn’t stay here for the night. Let's go to the forest so that
we can plan what we are going to do.
The sister, guy on the horse, old lady and the goat walk into the forest.
The setting changes today.
The sister, guy on the horse, old lady and the goat walk back to the cottage.
Guy on a horse: let’s go through the window so she doesn’t see us.
(They all climb through the window and sit down by the table)
The Old lady: do not eat any of the food in case it’s poisonous.
(They all agree and do not eat)
Guy on the horse: Sit down so we are not suspicious.
Babushka: Good morning! Did you all sleep well?
Sister: Yes, we did. Thank you.
Babushka: Thats good. I made breakfast, let's sit down.
Guy on a horse: Thanks, I will be right back I just need to go to the bathroom.
Bauska: Ok.
(The guy on a horse sneaks into the basement and uses a dagger to break the staff and the gem
in the staff breaks removing all the spells she has ever created).
Babushka: no what is happening NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
(Babushka dies because she had put an everlasting spell on herself)
Sister: Yes! The plan is working, she is dying.
Narrator: The witch dies and the Ivanushka transforms back to human, and they all live happily
ever after.
