Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the position, all applicants must meet the GIC Asst. Manager
eligibility standards. Any candidate who is found to be ineligible based on the
information provided in the GIC Assistant Manager notification will be pulled out from
the selection process. Candidates will learn about the GIC Assistant Manager age
limit, educational requirements, and experience requirements in the eligibility criteria.
● Age limit: Only candidates who meet the GIC Assistant Manager age
requirements will be considered for the GIC Assistant Manager position in
2022. The following are the age restrictions for candidates:
Minimum age requirement: 21 years
Maximum age limit: 30 years
SC/ST 5 Years
OBC 3 Years
PWD 10 Years
EX-SERVICEMAN Subject to a

of 45 years

a) Pay attention to the prominent and scoring topics such as reading
comprehension, error spotting, synonym and antonym, rearranging and
improving sentences, fill in the blanks and cloze test.
b) Having a good command of English and a fair hold on vocabulary
should sail you through.
c) Read newspaper editorials and improve reading habits as it is very
important for solving comprehension and will help in saving a lot of
time.
● General Awareness-
a) Start preparing for this section 6-7 months well in advance as leaving it
for last-minute preparation can be cumbersome.
b) Prepare and revise current affairs everyday.
