GIC Assistant Manager Post (Scale-I) 2022: Exam Pattern,

The General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC), one of the prominent insuring
bodies in India, regularly conducts recruitment exams to find competent applicants
for Assistant Manager positions (Scale-I). Candidates who pass the GIC recruitment
exam 20212 shall be assigned to one of the GIC offices in India. Like every year, this
year also the General Insurance Corporation of India will soon issue an official
notification for the recruitment of Assistant Managers.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the position, all applicants must meet the GIC Asst. Manager
eligibility standards. Any candidate who is found to be ineligible based on the
information provided in the GIC Assistant Manager notification will be pulled out from
the selection process. Candidates will learn about the GIC Assistant Manager age
limit, educational requirements, and experience requirements in the eligibility criteria.

● Age limit: Only candidates who meet the GIC Assistant Manager age
requirements will be considered for the GIC Assistant Manager position in
2022. The following are the age restrictions for candidates:
Minimum age requirement: 21 years
Maximum age limit: 30 years

Age relaxation applied in accordance with government regulations is as

Application Form 2022


Eligible candidates can only apply for the post online via the official GIC website. The
steps below should be followed:

Step 1: Go to GIC 2022's official website and click on "apply online."

Step 2: Create an account by clicking on "new registration."

Step 3: Fill out the form with your name, email address, and phone number.

Step 4: After clicking 'submit,' the system will produce an ID and password for you.

Step 5: 'Login' through the same, and fill in the required information before clicking
'save and next.'

Step 6: Upload any relevant documents, including signatures and photographs.

Step 7: Select 'payment' and complete the form after payment and submit it.

Please note, the application fee for all categories is INR 850 + 18% GST.

Dates for the exams have not yet been announced. As correlated with the previous
year’s dates, the following are the predicted months for 2022:

GIC Selection Process 2022


The selection procedure consists of two stages: a written exam and a personal
interview round. It proceeds like this:
● The written exam is the first phase.
● Candidates must pass the written exam (online exam) with a minimum score.
● Once Phase I is cleared, the candidate is shortlisted for Phase II.
● The personal interview round, i.e., the PI round is Phase II wherein the
candidate participates in a group discussion (GD) followed by an interview.
The minimum qualifying score for Phase II is 60% marks separately.
● After passing all of the phases, the candidates will be finalised under the GIC
board.

GIC Exam Pattern 2022


The conducting authority determines the exam pattern for GIC Recruitment 2022. On
the website, candidates can get a quick overview of last year's exam papers and
mock examinations. The following are the remaining details:
● The GIC exam will be divided into two phases: Phase I and Phase II, with
three parts: Part A, Part B, and Part C in Phase I.
● Part A and B will be objective, whereas Part C will be descriptive in nature.
● There will be 123 questions in total, with a total score of 150.

Analysing the previous year’s cut-off list, the magic number to save a seat in GIC
Written Exam 2022 is 120 out of 150. However, if the candidate scores anywhere
close to 105-110 out of 150 then the candidate’s performance has to be
exceptionally good in the interview. To ensure success in GIC Assistant Manager
