Problem 2:
Danilo took a survey of his classmates about their favorite
pet. He recorded the data separately. Out of 13 boys, 8 answered
dog and 5 answered cat. On the other hand, out of 11 girls, 7
answered dog and 4 answered cat.

Based on the bar graph presented, Filipino got 12, Math got 8,
Science got 6 and English got 4.
Therefore, Filipino is the most favorite subject of Ms. Concepcion’s
class while English was the least favorite.
To find out the answer, let us look at the situation first. Mr. Santos is
trying to compare these two sets of data which are the sales of
Store A and B. So if we are going to present two sets of data on the
same graph we use a double bar graph.

Based on the double bar graph, the item that was most
popular among the customer is the radio which got the highest
number of item sold by both two stores while oven got the least
number of sales from both stores.

Directions: Read and understand the situations carefully then
answer the questions that follow in your notebook.
1. Baste wanted to know of what is the favorite ice cream flavor of his
classmates. So he conducted a survey to find out. He recorded his
data separately. Of his classmates, 18 are boys and 10 are girls. Out of
18 boys,10 chose chocolate flavor, 6 chose mango and 2 chose
vanilla. On the other hand, out of 10 girls, 5 chose chocolate, 3 chose
mango and 2 chose vanilla.
2. Juan has many hens in his farm. Every day, he collects eggs
from his hens. These are the number of eggs that he collected
from Monday to Friday. On Monday, he collected 30 eggs, 25
eggs on Tuesday, 15 eggs on Wednesday, 10 eggs on
Thursday and 40 eggs on Friday.
