Atelier is a workshop or studio,


especially the one which is
used by an artist or haute
couture fashion designer.
MILLINERY

The act of designing,


manufactuting and selling of hats
or headwear is known as
Millinery.
Pret-a-Porter.
Prêt-à-Porter is high quality,
factory made fashion
which is mass produced
in standardized size.
Fit Model.

A fit model (sometimes fitting model)


is a person who is used by a fashion
designer or clothing manufacturer to
check the fit, drape and visual
appearance of a design on a 'real'
human being, effectively acting as a
live mannequin.
Avant-Garde

Avant–grade, advance guard or


vanguard are people or works that are
experimental or innovative particularly
with respect to fashion, art, lifestyle or
culture. It also pushes the boundaries
of what is accepted as the norm or the
status quo.
