Carbon Dioxide (CO2) 765 ppm(STP) IEC 60567 HS <3800 >14000 <25 2022-03-21
Carbon Monoxide (CO) 212 ppm(STP) IEC 60567 HS <400 >600 <25 2022-03-21
Acetylene (C2H2) <1.0 ppm(STP) IEC 60567 HS <2 >20 <1.0 2022-03-21
Ethylene (C2H4) <1.0 ppm(STP) IEC 60567 HS <60 >280 <1.0 2022-03-21
TCG (Total Combustible Gases) 217 ppm(STP) IEC 60599 <753 >1580 2022-03-21
Note 1: Value limit is used in accordance with standard IEC 60599 (2015) for mineral oil-impregnated electrical transformer. Note 2: The limit mentioned of acetylene is for
transformer tank not equipped with an OLTC. The limit of acetylene for transformer communicated with OLTC will be normal at less than 60 and caution at more than 280 ppm
(STP). Note 3: Head Space technique (HS) is used for extraction of dissolved gases from oil sample. Note 4: Weight of 10 ml oil is used in the calculation. Note 5: Gas concentration
unit is ppm (STP) where ppm = microliters/liter and STP = Standard Temperature (20 degC method IEC 60567 and 0 degC ASTM D3612C) and Pressure (101,325 kPa).
EVALUATION
Dissolved gas values are within normal limit. Condition of insulating paper is good regarding values of CO2
and CO. Equilibrium gas pressure shows no risk to form free gas bubbles.

Note 1: Value limit is used in accordance with the standard IEC 60422 (2013) for insulating oil in-service according to the Category A where the HV-system above 170kV and up to
and including 400kV. Note 2: Cell type used for DF test ASTM D924 method is IEC 60247 Fig.3 (73.0pF). Average Voltage gradient (Electrical stress) = 1000 VAC/mm. Test
Frequency = 60 Hz for D924 and 55 Hz for IEC60247. Resistivity is calculated at 250V/mm; 60s short-circuit; 90C. Note 3: DL=Detection limit along with calibration of our
instruments according to ISO 17025 requirement. Note 4: Optimal limits of passivators BTA and Irgamet 39, and caution limits of DBDS and sulfur mercaptan are according to IEEE
Journal; https://ur.booksc.eu/book/61490488/b0d22f. Note 5: Limits of H2S and toluene are according to IEEE Journal: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9215129. Note 6: Limits
of Dissipation Factor (DF) @100°C and @25°C are according to standard IEEE C57.106. Note 7: Value limit of DP-value is used in accordance with the standard IEC 60450 and
Cigre 323
EVALUATION
There is no indication of the oxidation process in the oil since the values of acidity and water are within the
normal level. IFT confirms no oxidation products in the oil. DF shows no ionic compounds in the oil. Quality
index value and other physical parameters show good oil quality.
