1. Differentiate the type of assessment: 


        a. Assessment as Learning
        b. Assessment of Learning
        c. Assessment for Learning

Assessment of learning is often summative and is completed at the end of a specific unit
of work in order to show proof of success to parents, other instructors, and the student
themselves while the emphasis on assessment for learning switches from summative to
formative assessment, which occurs during the learning process, frequently several times,
rather than at the conclusion. And as to assessment as learning occurs when students reflect on
their work on a regular basis, often through self and peer assessment, and select what their
future learning will be.

2. What do you think is the role of assessment in Teaching and Learning?


Assessment plays an important part in both teaching and learning since it evaluates
learning that is/has occurred and provides an overall picture of learning that may benefit both
the teacher and the student.
