S: So, you are applying as a Bank Teller, right?
A: Yes maam!
S: So how are you feeling today?
A: Actually, I’ve been feeling a bit nervous but overall, I am good because I
prepared for this day.
S: Good to hear Miss Angelica. Please relax yourself and since you said that you
prepared for this, I take that as a go signal for this interview. Are you ready to
start?

PART 2
S: Can you please introduce yourself to me Miss Angelica.
A: Again Mam Sahara, good day! I am Angelica Mariano, 22 years old. I am a
graduating Finance major student in Polytechnic University of the Philippines
Manila. I am currently interning at our university’s Internal Audit Office. I also
finished my internship in Blue Topaz Insurance Services, one of PruLife’s
Branches, last semester. I have experiences in Marketing and Sales. Also, when I
am in my High School, I participated in the Summer Internship Program of
Metropolitan Manila Development Authority of the Philippines or known as MMDA.
I was designated in their Administrative Department and I did clerical tasks such
as sorting documents and processing the employees’ resignation letter. For now, I
am currently focusing to finish my degree and hoping that will pass in this
interview to get a sure job after my graduation.
PART 3
S: What interests you to apply in our Bank?
 A: When the pandemic affects our country, it is lockdown, face to face is limited,
yet I got a UnionBank savings account set up online. Since then, I've been using
and utilizing your digital app, and I've found it to be quite useful in goal planning as
well as simple to use and to navigate. Also, the fact that I was able to open an
account just by applying online impressed me because it is a hassle-free service
that is ideal in the case of a catastrophe or any other circumstances in which a
person is unable to open their own bank account face-to-face. It aims for
something like a person's ability to open a bank account in a convenient manner.
Unionbank's innovative and technological competency in service makes me want
to be a member of its organization. I would love to be a part of this innovative
community and use my skills to continue the groundbreaking work you are doing
here.
PART 4
S: What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses and how do you
overcome them?
A: Personally, communication is my primary strength. I've noticed that I can simply
start a conversation with whoever I want. At my former job in a clothing shop, I
used to chat, call, and discuss their products with their prospective customers.
Taking initiative, punctual, fast learner, being flexible, and being a hard worker are
some of my other strengths.
My greatest weakness, on the other hand, is that I find it difficult to ask for help.
I've always believed that I should be self-sufficient because everyone is so busy
these days, and I don't want to be a burden. But, as a response, I've come to see
that this is a wrong approach. When I'm working on a difficult task in school, I seek
assistance and inquiries to my classmates so that I can work smarter rather than
harder. I believe there will always be someone at school or in a workplace who has
done the activity you have done or something similar, and they will be able to guide
you in proper way. This will allow me to learn faster and work more effectively as
an individual and as part of a group or team.

PART 9
A: Can you please introduce yourself to me Miss Sahara.
S: Good afternoon. I am Sahara A. Bauting. 4 th year Financial Management
student from PUP – Manila. I’ve been part of JFINEX Creatives, a sub organization
under JFINEX PUP for almost 4 years. I was the head photographer for two years
and became the creative director for almost half a year. As a leader, I always make
sure to have an efficient communication with my members when distributing tasks
 for the events we were handling. I also encourage them to seek help and ask
questions for the things that need clarifications in order to fulfill the tasks properly
and meet the required quality standards. Last semester, I took my internship with
one of the branches of Pru Life UK, Blue Topaz Branch where we disseminate
financial literacy to the community through our social media pages.
PART 10
A: Did you have any idea what is the job position you are trying to apply?
S: As I was scrolling through your website and other online platforms, Graduate
Analyst helps in providing the day to day and updated financial information to the
clients and data partner. Other responsibilities are support for risk management
and compliance, monitoring of data quality checks, and performance attribution
analysis support.
A: You have pointed the basic responsibilities. That was excellent.
PART 11
A: Next, what is your greatest strength and how this strength will help you
to perform the job position?
S: Being a detail-oriented is one of my greatest strengths. In our organization, it
is essential to be keen on the details as we are publishing information and
materials on our social media pages. We always make sure to double check
everything from the captions, photos used, and layouts that were created for us
to be able to provide an appropriate information to the studentry. It is same with
the graduate analyst, as it requires to be meticulous with the financial information
you will be giving to the clients and data partners.

PART 12

A: What are your weaknesses?

S: One of the weaknesses I could consider is having a difficulty of taking a big

risk. There was a certain moment in the organization when our seniors appoint me
as the head of photography department when in the first place, I was actually a
part of editing department. At first, I was hesitant to accept the position as I know
that I do not have enough background to lead the department. But with the help of
 the members and other department heads, I accepted the responsibility and ask
for some help from the people to learn the basics in photography. Throughout the
year, I had gained enough experience to be able to lead the department
confidently.

A: WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER CANDIDATES?

S: I am a fast learner, willing to learn new things and can adapt to new working
environment. When I commit myself to the responsibility, I make sure that I am
doing my best and able to give a good outcome.
