Rubric Practical Task

This rubric evaluates student performance on a practical task across 6 criteria in a scale of 1 to 5: 1. Ability to use lab equipment, handling of procedures, results and observations, discussion of results, risk assessment and safety measures, and participation. Excellent performance demonstrates appropriate use of equipment, following all procedures, developing own methods for recording high-quality results and observations, strong analysis correlating results to objectives, observing all safety measures, and active involvement. Weak performance is characterized by mistakes using equipment, missing major procedures, incomplete or inaccurate recording of data, limited discussion lacking analysis, safety lapses, and lack of involvement.
