The scope of works included in this sequence are explained in such order:
Reroute existing drainage
Demolish concrete wall and concrete slab
Project Manager:
In order to ensure effective development and implementation of the safe systems of work, the project
manager shall nominate a supervisor, who has overall control of works.The project manager is required
to ensure suitable working conditions site wide, logistic and other facilities for all operatives

Prepare work methods that are used as references in the field in the form of tools and materials
Check the stages of work in the field. Daily monitoring and communication with execution team
regarding progress in the field related to the structural integrity of the building. (effect of the breaking
to the permanent structure)

HSES Manager:
Ensures that all site personnel attend the site induction prior to working on site.
Carry out periodic site safety inspections and report back findings to site management.
Keep and maintain clear records to comply with safety management system and clients standard.
Communicate and promote the health and safety management ethos and concepts.
Deliver training as agreed with the project safety manager.
Ensure that project has been provided with the relevant statutory health and safety documentation.
Provide support to site management on incident investigation.
Liaise directly with Project Managers on health and safety matters
Attends regular project safety department meetings.

1. Survey and marking the cutting line for pathway/walkway in BC Building area accordance to the
shop drawing. Put safety line surrounding the demolition area.

2. Put sequences in order to establish way of work. Shown in picture below are the sequencing for the
demolition work. The sequence should start in sequence 1 and finish in the sequence 2.

3. Create demolish marking as a boundary for the paving dismantle within the curb as shown in the
shopdrawing.

5. Demolish the concrete curb using concrete cutter, or manually using sledgehammer or jackhammer,
with the help of frybar, hook and chisel.
6. Dismantle all the paving block and concrete kerb in one sequence at one time.
7. Collect the concrete flakes, kerb and paving blocks in the waste bucket using handcart. Put all the
waste disposal on the temporary workshop.

A. Quality Assurance
1. Ensure the method statement has been approved and every works done as per method
statement, contract, and vendor document.
2. Method statement must be known by every person involved in this works.
3. Ensure internal checklist has been fulfilled before work done.
4. Execute identification on every material, tools, procedure, resources and management to
ensure every works finished properly.
B. Quality Control
1. Work permit should be approved as per method statement, area, material, and tools
2. Prepare plan, procedure, and document related to the works
3. Every step should follow the method statement including finishing.
6. Safety Management
1. The introduction of work safety must be introduced to everyone involved in the project before the
construction work begins through safety induction
2. All heavy equipment must have SILO / SIA and operator must have SIO to operated the equipment
(competent personnel).
3. Work order, the potential that can cause work accidents both equipment, material and work methods
must be explained in the initial stages and at the pre-start meeting. This was stated in detail in the
job safety analysis (JSA).
4. All people involved in work must wear personal protective equipment in the project area. The
provision of security signs and work safety is always placed in the appropriate location.
5. Mechanics along with safety must always check the equipment that is being used and which will be
used in the construction process periodically.
6. Special things that require attention:

Every supporting material must have an MSDS
No leaking or dropping oils from machine
Smooth operation machine
Prepare for emergency equipment on passive and active systems.
