D. Elaboration
Let us always bear in mind the following:
Water is a renewable resource because of water cycle. But a lot of places in the
world and in our country do not have enough water because there are two
problems with water: (1.) amount of distribution and (2) quality or safety.
There are two important sources of water supply; (1.) Surface water and (2.)
Ground water.
Oceans, lakes, seas, streams, rivers, waterfalls, dams and springs are sources of
water.
Oceans, lakes and seas are the sources of food to eat.
Dams and waterfalls are the sources of electricity.
Springs are therapeutic due to its warm temperature coming from underground.
Dams and rivers are sources of potable water. (Potable- suitable for drinking)
Let us do our best in conserving water. Le t us use water wisely and properly. If
we do not conserve water, we might be faced with a big problem. Bear in mind
that water is an important resource. Let us prevent making water scarcity and
pollution as major problem of the world in the near future.
This time let’s have an activity…entitled “Act me out” I will let you pick an
object inside this box, think a possible thing you can do with this object using
water. You have to act it out. No repetition of actions. Be creative an enjoy!...
