Procedures Facilitator’s Activity Learner’s Activity

A. Reviewing previous “Good morning my dear
lesson or presenting students.”
the new lesson “Shall we all pray. May I
• Preliminaries request Jane to lead us to
• Prayers prayer?”
• Greeting “Okay, good morning once
• Attendance Checking again. How’s your day? I
hope we all feel great. Before
we proceed to our class, I will
check your attendance first. I
would like you to inform that
your attendance everyday is
very important, so that you
won’t miss our lessons. Are
you excited to learn new
things today on
entrepreneurship?”
Attendance is checked.
“As additional reminders, as
young adults, I expected you
to behave and act like one.
Disturbing the class with
unnecessary noise, actions or
inattentiveness is a sign of
disrespect.” Please mute your
microphone if I already start
to discuss our lesson.”

“May I ask, What can you

remember from our lesson
last meeting? May I call on
Ms. Cabreros to give her brief
insights”
“Thank you Ms. Cabreros ,
you are right. Last meeting we
discussed about the
importance of product
packaging.”
“May I ask Dahna to give
some of those important of
product packaging?” “Thank
you Dahna.”
“You mentioned about product
packaging serves to protect
the product inside where
packaging must keep the
product safe during shipment
between the manufacturing
facility and the retailer. Is this
what important is the product
packaging Jeramie?”
Thank you, Jeramie. You are
correct. This is very important
to consider. So today, we are
going to meet and identify the
market need where we can
possibly solve the problem by
proposing possible products.
And these products can be
our source of income.”

“The following are our

objectives in this topic. At the
end of the lesson, you will be
able to:

• Identify a target market by

understanding your
customers.

• Determine your direct and

indirect competition.

• Analyze the strengths and

weaknesses of competitors.

• Establish strategies for

maintaining customer loyalty.

B. Establishing a “ Class, who knows the song,

purpose for the Walang Sino Man Ang
lesson Nabubuhay” (Facilitator will
project the lyrics on the
• Motivation screen)

“ Shall we all sing, even

without accompaniment”

“What have you learned about

the lyrics of the song? Ilyn,
What are your thoughts?

You are correct. Nobody can

live alone without the other.
Same way with you class, you
can’t study here without the
people who are supporting
you. In the same way, as part
of the community, you also
play an important role in it,
right?

“Hypothetically. Do you think a

community can’t live
harmoniously if they don’t
help each other?

“Do you think our school will

function well if you students
will not cooperate and follow
rules?”

“Your responses class only

signifies that you are an
important part of our school.
The problems that we
encounter here in the school,
or in the community will be
solve with your cooperation
just like what happen in our
world today, the pandemic, we
just need to help each other
and cooperate”.

ACTIVITY “Now, this morning, we will

have an activity called “by
pair” activity where you and
your partner will be
brainstorming.
In this activity, you are going
to determine the problem in
your barangay or municipality
in terms of lack of product
supply, or even the product
that does not exist in your
barangay or municipality, in
order for you to identify the
possible products or services
that you are going to propose
based on the problem that
you have gathered. With that,
you now have your target
market.

Write your answer in any form

of presentation like in
Microsoft word, power point,
etc. I will give you 20 minutes
to finish your output.

Now, this time let us identify

the problem in your
barangay/municipality.
Remember, there are different
problem inside and outside in
your barangay.

“Okay since everyone is done,

let us try to evaluate your
answer. Let us start in
alphabetical order, so may I
call on Ms Cabreros together
with your partner to report
your answer and so on.”
ANALYSIS “Do you see the importance of
our activity today? Why?
“Was it difficult or easy? Why?
“Do you believe that every
problem has a solution? Why?
“Why did Ms Cabreros and
her partner said that……..”
“What if we will find the
accurate problem in our
community in terms of market
need, was our community
improved? Why?
(Q and A will be expounded
from the responses of the
learners)

ABSTRACTION “Class, the activity that we

performed a while ago, give
us the glimpse of the
complexity of the problem.
Correct, some problem are
hard to be solve, however, if
we can just identify some of
it’s possible products in the
market, we can give concrete
solutions to the problem in our
community. Now, where we
can be situate our topic today,
which is the market needs.

Additional input will be given

by the facilitator by defining
what is MARKET NEEDS and
its connection to the problem.

“Class, market needs are the

basis for our proposal to solve
the problem. Example, if we
know that one of the problem
in our community is lack of
water supply. So what is the
market need there? Isn’t it
that we have to offer them to
buy mineral water? Yes it is.
Therefore, our proposal now
is to establish a business
which we will support and
fulfill their needs.”
APPLICATION “Now class, let us revisit your
output from pair activity. You
think from among your
identified problem in your
barangay/municipality, what
are the possible market
needs. These market needs
are actually business
opportunities which we can
propose a business. Do it with
your pair again. I will give you
10 minutes to come up with
your market needs and your
proposal. Just make 1
proposal. Choose the best
business opportunity and
explain what makes your
product unique.

“Write your answer in a

Microsoft word, Power point
or any form of presentation
where you were comfortable
with. Then later on, you will
report your output together
with your pair.”

“After the activity, the teacher

will ask:
“Did you learned something
from your activity?”
“What have you observed
from the problems identified
by the other groups?”
Are they interrelated? Kindly
explain.

IV. EVALUATION The teacher will have the quiz

the same with the activity (by
pair activity). But this time,
instead of problems they see
in their barangay/municipality,
the facilitator will use
problems in the school, such
as:

- Lack of school supplies

- Lack of technology use
- Lack of transportation
- Lack of school
equipment
