Mass balances

In this section, the various stages of mass balance are explained below. Some important values such
as the reactor’s reactivity and efficiencies of various separation units were obtained from literature.

I. Capital costs
The cost curves for the equipments were obtained using the formula obtained from [2]. This formula
is given as follows,

Ce = the cost of the equipment, a and b = constants, S = size parameter and n = specific equipment’s
exponent.
