Operations Management and Profitability of Selected Eateries, Barangay San Agustin, Trece Martires City, Cavite, Cy 2018

This study investigated the relationship between operations management and profitability of eateries in Barangay San Agustin, Trece Martires City, Cavite. The study surveyed 6 eatery owners and 18 customers on the eateries' cleanliness, food quality, costs, prices, sales, and savings. Results showed the eateries had average levels of operations management and profitability. A significant relationship was found between operational management strategies and profitability, indicating that better management leads to higher profits. The study aimed to help eatery owners improve their businesses through better operations and financial management.

EATERIES, BARANGAY SAN AGUSTIN, TRECE MARTIRES CITY, CAVITE,
CY 2018 a research conducted at the Barangay San Agustin,Trece Martires City , Cavite
October 2018

This study investigates the significant relationship between the levels of

Operations management and profitability of selected eateries at the Barangay San

Agustin, Trece Martires City, Cavite. Specifically, it answered the following question:

What is the respondents sociodemographic profile in terms of age, gender? what is the

level of operations management of selected eateries in Barangay San Agustin, Trece

Martires City, Cavite indicated by sanitation and quality of food? What is the profitability

level of eateries in terms of: cost, price, sales and net savings? is there a significant

relationship between operational management strategies and profitability of selected

eateries?

The total sample population of the respondents were 24, where in 6 selected

owners of eateries who are legally registered and 18 selected students of New Generation

International School that will act as a respondents for customers

This research was delimited to only two variable namely operations management

of selected eateries and profitability only.There were 6 selected owners and 18 selected

students.

Descriptive correlation research design were used in this study that measures two

relevant variables and asseSs its relationship between them.

Data was gathered by the researchers with the aid of survey checklist after we

secure our letter of request to conduct the study.

The overall mean for the operations management was 1.72 or Average .The

respondents had 1.63 or Average level of profitability with overall mean 1.63
