    INTRODUCTION
    • Autodesk inventor

    Inventor is a parametric, feature-based system, allowing you to create 3D parts,


    assemblies, and 2D drawings. Parametric modelling allows for increased power
    and flexibility by setting up parameters and relationships with control over
    design intent. Design intent describes the way your design will behave based on
    your use of parameters with dimensions and relationships.
    As a part of the Autodesk family, Inventor looks and feels similar to AutoCAD.
    Someone who already uses AutoCAD can leverage many of their 2D drawings
    in Inventor to streamline the process for creating accurate 3D models. Anyone
    designing or manufacturing mechanical components has a need for Inventor.

    MINI PROJECT

    We as a student from DKM3A has given a task to complete in a group about


    Autodesk Inventor. We have to do Mini Project drawing which consist at least 6
    parts using Autodesk Inventor. So, we as a team has decided to make a
    “compass divider” as our Mini Project.

    CONCLUSION
    In conclusion, we have successfully finished our Mini Project “compass
    divider”. We would like to thanks for lecturer for guiding us throughout the
    working process in our project. Also, we learn a lot on how to use inventor
    especially in sketching in 2D and 3D object, extrude and assemble the object.
    We hope our knowledge about inventor can help us find a job someday and we
    can earn more in the future to draw another project that using inventor.
