The Partridge Manual dated October 1947, a follow on from the out of print “The PA Manual’ and ‘The
Partridge Amplifier Circuits’ manuals from 1938. Describes a 40dB feedback 15W amp but no details of
output transformer used.

June 1954 – Advert in Audio for T/CFB, the CFB model with 43% UL taps (marked T) added.
September 1954 – Advert in Audio for UL2 model (C-core but lighter, cheaper and lower power rated
than CFB).

Willy Egli & Co pricesheet – includes PP0/, WWFB/0 and P3064; CFB and UL2 – undated.

1965 pricelist - still identifies WWFB, CFB and UL2 are available.

Exhibitor in June 1963 and 1966. RECMF exhibition merged to IEA (International Instruments,
Electronics and Automation) in 1967.

WW adverts till May 1968.

Supplied HiWatt amps, from late 1960's, but appears to have ended when HiWatt changed to BiaCrown
in 1981 and couldn't pay their suppliers.

Supplied SoundCity but appears to have ended mid-1970s - hearsay was that Partridge were getting too
expensive. The replacement was ElectroVoice (from Rickmansworth) that physically looked the same,
but without label or the laquer dipping showing on the clamps.

Partridge Transformers Ltd incorporated 8 Dec 1944, and dissolved via voluntary strike-off in 1997.

Partridge appear to add batch numbers when filling orders to third party manufacturers. Examples:
