3. Is there a significant difference in the study habits of BSA students at DHVSU-Mexico

in terms of time management and learning techniques when students are grouped

according to:

3.1 Age

Table 3.1 One Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA): Comparison between the Study Habits
of BSA Students at DHVSU-Mexico when grouped according to Age Group

Indicators Age Group Mean f-value p-value Decision Remarks

Note: If p-value is less than or equal to the level of significance which is 0.05 reject the null
hypothesis otherwise accept.

Table 3.1 shows the significant difference between the study habits of BSA students at

DHVSU-Mexico when grouped according to age group using the One-Way Analysis of Variance

(ANOVA). Based on the table above, the indicators time management and learning techniques

have a p-values greater then 0.05, therefore, the null hypothesis has no significant difference in

the study habits of BSA students at DHVSU-Mexico when grouped according to age group and

the decision is accepted.

This implies that the students’ respondents have no significant difference between the study

habits of BSA students at DHVSU-Mexico when they are grouped according to age group.
3.2 Sex

Table 3.2 Independent Sample T-test: Comparison between the Study Habits of BSA
Students at DHVSU-Mexico when grouped according to Sex

Techniques Female 4.35
Note: If p-value is less than or equal to the level of significance which is 0.05 reject the null
hypothesis otherwise accept.

Table 3.2 shows the significant difference between the study habits of BSA students at

DHVSU-Mexico when grouped according to sex using independent sample t-test. Based on the

table above, time management and learning techniques do not have significant difference when

the respondents are grouped according to sex because the p-value is greater than the level of

significance which is 0.05, therefore, accepting the null hypothesis.

This implies that there is no significant difference between the study habits of BSA students

at DHVSU-Mexico whether the students’ respondents are male or female.

3.3 Civil Status

Table 3.2 Independent Sample T-test: Comparison between the Study Habits of BSA
Students at DHVSU-Mexico when grouped according to Civil Status

hypothesis otherwise accept.

Table 3.3 shows the significant difference between the study habits of BSA students at

DHVSU-Mexico when grouped according to civil status using Independent Sample T-test.

Based on the table above, time management and learning techniques do not have significant

difference when the respondents are grouped according to civil status because the p-value is

greater than the level of significance which is 0.05, therefore, accepting the null hypothesis.
This implies that there is no significant difference between the study habits of BSA students

at DHVSU-Mexico whether the students’ respondents are single or married.

3.4 Highest Educational Attainment

Students at DHVSU-Mexico when grouped according to Highest Educational Attainment

hypothesis otherwise accept.

Table 3.4 shows the significant difference between the study habits of BSA students at

DHVSU-Mexico when grouped according to highest educational attainment using Independent

Sample T-test. Based on the table above, time management and learning techniques do not

have significant difference when the respondents are grouped according to highest educational

attainment because the p-value is greater than the level of significance which is 0.05, therefore,

accepting the null hypothesis.

This implies that there is no significant difference between the study habits of BSA students

at DHVSU-Mexico whether the students’ respondent are college undergraduate or graduate.

Hypothesis

There is no significant difference between the study habits of BSA students at DHVSU-

Mexico in terms of time management and learning techniques when students are grouped

according to age, sex, civil status and highest educational attainment.
