REMOVING THE BASKET AND TURRET
ROTATION ENGINE

REMOVING THE BASKET ROTATION ENGINE

- Locate the basket rotation engine hoses. A


- Dismantle the ring gear case 1 (Fig. A)(3 screws, 10 mm wrench).
- Dismantle the two hydraulic hoses 2 (Fig. A) (19 mm wrench).
- Dismantle the two mounting screws 3 (Fig. A) of the engine (10 mm hex. 2
wrench).
- Remove the engine 4 (Fig. A).

Nota : tightening torque of mountig screws 3 : 8 +- 10% daN.m

REMOVING THE TURRET ROTATION ENGINE

- Position the platform in such a way as to gain access to the turret rotation engine. B

- Disassemble the inner turret casing (4 screws, 10 mm wrench).

- Locate the hoses.

- Disassemble the lower turret polyester casing (7 screws, 10 mm wrench). 7

- Disassemble the two hydraulic hoses 5 (Fig. B) (19 mm wrench, 24 mm wrench).

- Disassemble from these two ends the hydraulic hose 6 (Fig. B) (19 mm
wrench).

- Disassemble the two engine mounting screws 7 (Fig. B) (8 mm hexagonal


wrench height 40).

- Remove the engine 8 (Fig. B).

When remounting the engine, use two new mounting screws 7 (Fig. B)
(qualité 12.9) with average locking compound.
(tightening torque : 13.5 +- 10% daN.m)

LIFTING CYLINDER OF LOWER ARM A

- Remove the right turret cowl.

- Locate the hydraulic hoses.

- Position the lower arm horizontally. 2

- Tightly block the lower arm using stays or a pulley.

- Dismantle the locking axles 1 (Fig. A) of the lower cylinder. 1

- Remove the cylinder 2 (Fig. A).

- Disconnect the hydraulic hoses (19 mm wrench).and seal them.

REASSEMBLY

- Carry out the operations described above in the reverse order.

LIFTING CYLINDER OF UPPER ARM (Fig. B)

- Lift the middle arm in order to release the access to the cylinder foot axle.

- Follow the same instructions described above while replacing “lower arm”
by “upper arm”.

REMOVING THE TILT CYLINDER

- Locate the hydraulic hoses.

- Wedge the basket with a hoisting device (lift as much as possible).

- Dismantle the locking axles 1 (Fig. A and B)(13 mm wrench, circlip pliers).

- Remove the cylinder.

- Disconnect the hydraulic hoses (19 mm wrench) and seal them.

- Carry out the operations described above in the reverse order. B

- Position the telescope arm horizontally.

- If necessary, hold back the basket-mobile tube assembly.

- Dismantle the telescope cylinder head axle 1 (Fig. A) (circlips pliers).

- Retract the telescope cylinder until it comes to a stop.

- Dismantle the telescope arm cover 2 (Fig. B) (2 screws, 10 mm wrench).

- Locate the hydraulic hoses.

- Disconnect the hydraulic hoses 3 (Fig. C) (24 mm wrench).and seal them.

- Dismantle the fixing device from the cylinder foot axle 4 (Fig. D) and drive
it out (13 mm wrench). B

- Remove the cylinder. 2

REASSEMBLY

- Carry out the operations described above in the reverse order.

- Locate the hydraulic hoses.

- Lift the middle arm in order to release the access to the compensation
cylinder head and foot axles.

- Cut off the power supply.

- Dismantle the locking axles 1 (Fig. A) (13 mm wrench).

- Remove the cylinder. 1

- Disconnect the hydraulic hoses (19 mm wrench) and seal them.

REASSEMBLY

- Carry out the operations described above in the reverse order.

- Position the platform (lower arm lift as much as possible) and orientate the A
right front wheel so as to obtain as much accessibility as possible.

- Cut off the power supply (battery cut out). 1

- Disconnect the safety valves 1 (Fig A) with a screwdriver.

- Disconnect the hydraulic hose 2 (Fig. A) and seal it. (19 mm wrench)

- Dismantle the shafts 3 (Fig. A and B). (circlip pliers)

- Remove the cylinder.

REASSEMBLY

- Carry out the operations described above in the reverse order. 3

- Place the platform on the ground. A

- Cut off the power supply (battery cut out).

- Disconnect the hydraulic hoses and seal them (19 mm wrench).

- Dismantle the axles 1 (Fig. A and B). (10 mm wrench and circlip pliers). 2

- Remove the lower arm 2 (Fig. A).

- Remove the cylinder 3 (Fig. A).

- Carry out the operations described above in the reverse order.

All the pressures are adjusted between 25 et 30°c

- Remove the turret right cowling.

MAIN CIRCUIT (240 BARS)

- Required tooling

• 1 pressure gauge (0-400 bar) ............549885


• 1 test hose .................................................549887

- Connect the pressure gauge onto the pressure tapping point 1 (Fig. A).

- Lower the lower arm as much as possible.

- Read the pressure on the pressure gauge.

- Main circuit pressure = 240 bar.

- If necessary, act upon the pressure limiter 2 (Fig. A) with a 1/4 mm hex.
wrench (adjusting screw) after having removed the plug.
