by non-government entities, free healthcare is provided by the government. Paid healthcare has
charities, not-for-profit organizations' support, and payments made by the patients. However,
free healthcare receives fewer budget allocations due to the competition of needs among the
government ministries (Cancarevic et al., 2021). This means that patients visiting free hospitals
might not receive advanced healthcare services. Furthermore, due to the limited budget, there are
a few doctors in free hospitals. On the other hand, paid hospitals do not depend on government
funding for their day-to-day operations; instead, they majorly use payments received from the
patients’ facilitated private insurance covers and thus can adequately meet the needs of the
patients.

and in most instances, they are not in a position to choose the type of treatment or the doctors to

It is the right of every person to access quality health care services. However, the above
analysis shows that paid healthcare is more effective when compared to free healthcare. The fact
that free healthcare is dependent on government funding means that it has to align itself with the
annual budget. On the other hand, paid healthcare is mainly a preservation for the rich
