My name is Sabrina and I am from Canada. Canada is located in North


America, north of the USA. It has two national languages: English and
French. There are ten provinces and three territories in Canada. All
Canadians speak English and you can learn French in school. There is one
province where Canadian only speak French and the name of this province
is Quebec. Canada’s capital city is Ottawa and there are three major cities:
Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
Canada is famous for its snow and cold weather. In winter, Canada is
very cold and snowy. The temperature can go as low as -40 degrees
Celsius and the snow lasts anywhere from four to six months. Even though
it is really cold in winter, there are a lot of things you can do in the snow.
You can play ice hockey or go skating. If you like an activity that is more
relaxing, you can go ice fishing in one of the many lakes. You can also go
sledding skiing or snowshoeing but make sure you dress up warm.
Unfortunately in the winter you can’t go to the beach or sunbathe outside
because the beaches are covered in snow.
The thing I love most about my country is the nature. I love trekking
in the forests, going to the mountains and playing outside in the park with

my friends. I also love the different cultures in Canada. Canada is very
multi-cultural so in the big cities you can find a lot of different cultural
festivals and restaurants to eat in.
