Today is a great day full of encouragement where I need to be filled with determination to work

Attending webinar for code of ethics for professional via google meet with our special resource
speaker ma’am Vicky Estroga. Listening to the speaker I also write the learnings shared about the code
of ethics that teachers should know about the code of ethics.

As future teachers, we should know the significance of code ethics in education in order to us
to be aware of how to act as a good teacher and the behavior of a teacher in teaching the field. In the
afternoon, I do reading articles about interactive teaching strategies. I attained different strategies that I
can use in the future of teaching that will help to have an interactive class. After reading an article I

Reflection of my daily activities

A job well done for myself in accomplishing today’s activity. It is indeed a successful attending
the webinar entitled internship webitalk in titled “Adulting Career 101” conducted by our resource
speakers Ma’am Jonne Pearl Q. Alas & Mrs. Lovely C. Mangubat. It is a good experience to learn
about adulting and choosing the right type of career we want to be in the future. Learned to widen our
minds and think positively to align our perception towards the environment we are living in and to see
what will be our typical path career.

After the webinar, I write automatically the learnings I learned and in the afternoon, I search
online for professional reading and I read an article about an Analysis of Elementary Schools Teachers’
Classroom Control Levels that as a teacher we must give them time ad-free space to do what can be
good for them and able to work on their pace which they are comfortable with. After writing my
professional reading I write down also my reflection log.

It is a day to accomplished work activity and a whole day attending webinar entitled of a date
with English and best classroom practices in the flexible learning in Thailand. I have learned a lot in
English teaching for elementary teaching that as a teacher you need to assist and observe students
understanding in English subject.

Innovatively teach them for engaging interactive class. Be adaptive to new technology for
teaching a conducive for learning. Read article for my professional reading and talks about learning
management system. An overview of learning management system, teacher can integrate LMS
software platform to support for teaching and learning process. It is accessible for the students in

Today is another day of webinar for resume writing and application my letter. It has taught me a
lot how to write proper resume and application letter that will enhance our ability to write especially
when applying for the job. I tried to write a resume for my job interview and I guess that I can write
better when I always making resume and application n my free time.

In the afternoon, I have read articles for my professional reading and I learned about innovative
teaching strategies. There are a lot of strategies that as a teacher can apply use for effective teaching.
To have a much fun and engaging teaching where students learn to demonstrate in creating idea using
the technology. I am preparing myself for another day to work for tomorrow and I enjoyed today even if
it was tardy. All the learning in today’s activity will help me to enhance my expertise.

In today’s webinar with the resource speaker Mr. Matutes, I gained an insight into avoiding
bullying, cyberstalking, and identity theft. Learn how we protect ourselves away from harm. Especially
we are dealing with social media considering. It is an opportunity to learn how to manage ourselves by
posting on social media about our personal information that will give an idea to the one who wanted to
use a scam or something that will cause trouble an unsafety about personal life on social media.

As a future teacher, I can be able to give pieces of advice to my students about do’s and don’ts
for online safety and data privacy. Aside from that, I learned also from reading the article about the
importance of teaching science in elementary. It is significant to teach science since we can learn how
humans evolved from generation to generation. We can’t say that life is easy. We have different
situations and circumstances in life that we should conquer. The purpose of teaching science is to learn
why human beings exist. From a young age, learners will be able to grow with different learning that
has been attained from the lesson in teaching science. Today’s activity was a wonderful and
challenging day to look ahead to tomorrow’s activity.

In today’s activity, I read the article about reading the digital game as a text. It will help students
to understand and comprehend games in a text. Visualized the story that has been shown in a digital,
Innovative way of teaching where students can challenge new things to explore. I can be able to use

Reflection of my daily activities

It was an inspiring message from our very own Dr. Alidangie Gabe in sharing his expertise in
teaching how to handle and prevent bullying on the school campus. 
The teacher should know the policy for anti-bullying. And how they impose classroom rules regarding
anti-bullying. 
While listening to the webinar, I reflect on the future of teaching to protect my pupils from
bullying. Always put in our mind to observe children’s behavior because it is one of the factors that
cause a bully. As a teacher, it is significant to have an idea about the policy for the children’s protection.
The teacher should be responsible for that and should teach in the classroom. Pupils should learn to
respect each other, be is able to avoid the conflicts that might cause the learners to self-pity and not
able to go to school.
I also learned today about synchronous strategies that will help me as a future teacher this
insight will help me to become an effective and efficient teacher by learning new strategies for teaching
online it is amended by our principles when teaching an online class that as a teacher we should create
an alternative ways use for teaching despite the pandemic situation. I am better than yesterday, I thank
God for his guidance and for giving me the strength to continue writing my daily activities, and for his
power of wisdom I can learn. The strategies that I acquired in the article I read will help me to Plan and
Organize Thoughtfully, strategy is a part of being student-centered is recognizing their limited attention
spans and planning accordingly.

A wonderful day and new learnings to attain in today’s webinar entitled MS office and office
etiquette. Although it takes nine hours to finish the webinar, we still manage to stay tuned and stay in
the webinar. It is part of our learnings to enhance our ability in expertise to use MS office like excel files
to make graphs and diagrams use to support presenting the lesson in teaching. Office etiquette
imparted to us, interns, proper grooming in order to have a pleasant physical appearance, especially in
deployments, applying for a job, and in the future of teaching.

At night, I still do my part in a reading article for professional reading about step guide to
teaching students to work in a group. This article I think an effective for collaborative teaching in the
future of teaching. Even though it is a tiring day but as a teacher, I need to be active even if sleep late
at night because I have a purpose to achieve my goals and I love teaching and that is my passion.

I prepare myself for the upcoming interviews, I wrote my resume and application letter,
reviewed and practice answering possible questions during the interview. Practicing to manage self-
confidence and stay calm, do not be nervous or rattle in order to maintain confidence during the
interview. I did practicing good communication with a proper way of how to answer a question with
confidence. After preparing my resume and application I send it to our respective interviewer, then I
read an article for my professional reading. I have read about the four-step discussion on challenging
behavior with the student and I’m sure that I can use it in the field of teaching.

To be an effective teacher, I should consider the behavior of my students. Observe student’s

behavior and listen to them in a sincere connection in order for them to assist with what they need, to
facilitate the learners check their work and give positive feedback for them to encourage no matter what
is the outcome of their activity they can feel that they have done a good job. They are still able to
participate and present in the class

I practiced well for good communication and preparing for my interview tomorrow. I reviewed
my resume and application letter right after I send them to my respective interviewer.

Today, I prepared a lot for my virtual interview. I secured the connection to my internet. Then,
read an article and wrote my professional reading.

I learned that as a future teacher while discussing the lesson and conducting the activity it
should be learner-centered where focuses on the student’s participation and engage in group activities
that the students can explore and learn through their experience. This knowledge I gained will help me
to practice, become more effective, and let my pupils participate in the class.

For today’s virtual interview, I am so blessed and happy that I passed the interview with Dr.
Vicky Estroga. It was really challenging during the interview and feel a little bit nervous, I’m scared that
what if I can’t pass the interview, but God never leave my side. He gave me strength and determination
to push through and keep on fighting that I can do and accomplished the interview with positive
outcome and comments. Those comments and advices encourage me to keep on believing myself that
I can do teaching in the field.

After my interview, I am so happy and then I proceed to read article, write the insights of what I
read about non- fiction stories for older student. In the future of teaching elementary, allowing student to
read nonfiction stories because it will help them to give idea about in real life experience in the society.

In today’s activity I learned that there are areas of other country who haven’t yet educated and
without learnings about the climate change. Due to some reasons, lack of government support, people
are remaining uneducated. I learned that as a future teacher we need to support and give learnings to
the learners, give a privilege to impart learnings where it can help a better learnings in such a simple
understanding on how to understand climate emergencies.

To help young ones for a brighter future, I voluntarily engage in community service. In this
strategy I can fully give my desire to volunteer teaching in the community. I will involve myself also in an

For today's reflection, it was challenging and making a lesson plan. I know it's hard. But, it is
part of a teacher to do multi-tasking and be flexible. Every day is a great day, and we thank Almighty
God for being there and guiding us. I am blessed to continue learning the things I want to learn, and I
learned from what I did today. In my activities, I learn and develop my skills well boost my confidence in
believing that I can do all with God.

Despite the lack of financial assistance, I conquered it all by believing that I can do my task
even if it was hard. As I look forward to the future, I will become a teacher. I can handle difficult
situations, as I practice managing myself when difficult times. I can manage well. Yes, I can, because I
practice myself to stand and keep on believing with determination and perseverance nothing is

A new day of learning and experience even though we have different situations to conquer our
fear, but instead to fear not to accomplish one-day activities but to overcome it and to have a courage
that we can do it to surpass the difficult times we experience.

New learning to share with us is about the diversity of education, along with my journey, I
encountered learning from different people with diver’s cultures and perspectives which one's goal is to
achieve. Teaching with diverse education will impact the Learning of an individual and learn that
despite the diversity we have driven along with the community and society, so it was a great experience
we have done dealing with people that has one goal to teach young ones to live peacefully and has a
purpose to lead the community someday. One nation, teaching a diversity of education emphasizes the
unity and connection of the school and community involvement the inclusion of one's perspective has
been delivered to a great contribution of one's goal traverse to a betterment of the society and has

Hardship and dedication to pursue my dreams in life. I should always render time, and continue
doing my task as part of my learning experience as a student. It was a challenge to manage my time
just to finish my task, and prepare myself for tomorrow's demo teaching. I should give myself a break
for today's preparation but I didn’t do my part for the last few days in preparing my things for my demo
teaching. So this is me while waiting for tomorrow’s event the pressure is palpating my mind and I was
distracted by the people who need my help but despite that time management will win. So better luck

For today's activity, I was blessed and happy because we were done presenting our demo
teaching. Despite the circumstances, I experience a while ago during my demo teaching when some of
my instructional materials half fell to the ground I was a little bit nervous because I didn’t expect it to
happen but I was blessed to handle it with good interaction to the class. Despite the uncertainties, we
didn't expect to happen learn to stay calm and at the same time think to stay positive in order to get the
goals of having better outcomes and the lesson I have learned at the end of this day as part of. In my

In today's activity, I was exhausted and not feeling well due to my cough, but despite those
feeling inside me, on the other part, I am so blessed that I can be able to do my activities. I have
learned that no matter what your situation is if you have the courage and determination to do your job
today or that day. You will be able to accomplish the work that you started, and it's great to have a
better outcome at the end of the day. Sometimes we need to give ourselves a break, but we can't deny

It is another day to reflect on myself. As future educators, we need to help and develop our
skills. Widen our knowledge to be open-minded and to learn gaining ideas from the different aspects of
life. I challenge myself to face uncertainties in the future of teaching, where I learned the confidence to
handle the situation in which I am capable of doing things. As future teachers, we need to know
different methods that we have might use as our reference to become more flexible in teaching with
perseverance and courage will lead to successful teaching-learning.

It was a great day to be back at school. Guided and assisted by our respective advisers in the
making of lesson plans. Today I have read an article about how to set up classroom learning centers, I

It was challenging doing my daily routine activities which will improve my time management
where I look forward, to the future when I could be more flexible in doing the task. In today's activity, I
have enjoyed the webinar because it’s about the arts of literature where we can have gained learning
and listen to those important details about the history of the Philippines way back then. Despite the
internet interruption, the show must go on. It was a very interactive activity in which different schools
have given their response to the question have given and at the same time, we enjoyed the results of
answers related to “panitikan”.

Overall I've such good things today and I am better than yesterday's output. The learnings that
have been imparted towards us are meaningful and have a great value in which it was encouraging and
motivates learners to reborn and give significance to writing arts literature. This learning will help me to
develop my writing skills in art literature.

This learning experience I gained today will help develop my skills and improve my

Reflection of my daily activities

In the morning, we have a virtual meeting about the updates for the health survey for the
preparation of the upcoming deployments. While attending the meeting I have read an article about the
impact of covid-19 on teaching and learning. I learned that the learning management system is widely
used to support technology in the new normal mode of learning. As a future teacher, I will use online
learning platforms to promote self-directed learning assessment in the students. Online education is the
delivery of learning materials using the internet for student-student and student-teacher interaction and
for distributing educational materials.

In the afternoon, I went to the school to get the fliers to use for medical checkups for the
upcoming deployment. There was a guide written on the fliers that we need to provide sputum and fecal
for the examination and CBC for the blood. After getting the fliers to proceed to write my learning insight
and reflection log.

Today’s daily activities, we went to the Initao center for medical examination, read an article,
wrote insights, and wrote a reflection. In a reading article, I have learned that using projectors and
visuals will help the teaching and learning effectively. Visual images always have a strong appeal
compared to words. Using projectors and visuals to aid in learning is another form of great
technological use.

Technology today plays a very important role in our life. It is seen as a basis for the growth of
an economy. An economy that is poor in technology can never grow in today’s scenario. This is
because technology makes our work much easier and less time-consuming. The impact of technology

This learning has a great impact on me during the webinar activity because it made me realize
that even when you are not a leader, you should be a leader of yourself, and out of the shell where you
can see yourself that you can do better when you become a leader. It has developed our perspective to
give support a positive discipline in ourselves to grow better, and we can handle how to manage the
plan and make the plans to achieve our goals in life. Being a teacher is not easy. Teaching students

Preparing the materials needed for the demo teaching tomorrow. Printing pictures is time-
consuming, so while waiting for the other pictures I started cutting out the pictures, and I practiced
demo teaching so that I can control myself and lessen my fear. Today, I have read an article about the
importance of mental health which is an important issue for all educators, who are often the first line of
defense for their students. Assess students’ emotional needs where it has possible to determine that
students are at risk and should be guided and given attention. Not only for learners but also for the

Today is a big day to celebrate despite the pain I’ve experienced. I did my best during my demo
teaching. But, I am so thankful to those evaluators who gave good comments that helped me to
improve my teaching skills.

After the demo, I took sleep and read an article about child protection policy awareness of the
teacher and responsiveness in the school. I learned that the 21st century offers different perspectives
and policies that benefit students. Since the context of learning today is student-centered, teachers
become facilitators. Child protection is the rule of the teacher, parents, and the school. Learner’s safety
should always be the priority of the school and teachers are responsible to educate learners by
implementing classroom rules that I think would help also to lessen or avoid bullying they should be
taken.

article about the reinforcement theory of motivation that was proposed by BF Skinner and his
associates. It states that an individual’s behavior is a function of its consequences.

I learned that Reinforcement theory involves the inner feeling of an individual and that the
external environment of the institution must be designed effectively and positively to motivate the
learners. As future teacher reinforcement supports the teaching process in which it helps to motivate
the learner’s interest in learning.

I prepare myself for the virtual demo teaching for tomorrow and I make my power point
presentation then practiced presenting the demo to ensure the presentation is good and working. I set
all the important things to do, check the videos and the discussion if it is working. In the afternoon, I
have read an article about forgetting how to read and I learned that on the digital screen we read
fleetingly, flittingly. Our brains have what scientists call “novelty bias.” We are predisposed to attend to
new information; from an evolutionary perspective, what’s new, bright, and flashing could contain
survival information. It gets priority. Reading on screens sets up a cycle of expectation and gratification.
As a teacher use as reinforcement for reading in order the students can’t forget to read. Imagine
schools of choice that intentionally isolate students from technology at strategic times during the

Today is our virtual demo teaching and I prepared so much for this to have a good outcome
and be positive. First thing we did is to have a dry run; I checked my group mate’s presentation so that
their presentation works well. We work together in order to make the virtual demo’s success and we did
it, we are glad and thankful to God that we able to accomplished this virtual demo teaching with positive
feedbacks.

I have read an article about the importance of self-motivation and I learned that Self-motivation
is the best form of motivation for oneself; it is an important element which is required to stimulate the
desire in people for performing and giving their best at their work.

Everybody should always remember the fact that success and failure are the two sides of a
coin. Success and failure do not completely depend on one’s skill and ability. A self-motivated person
will have the tendency to work for longer hours than others, become team leaders, come up with
solutions to various problems, and also learn and develop new skills.

Today’s activity I have read an article about Assessing prior knowledge types as predictors of
academic achievement in the introductory phase of biology and physics study programs using logistic
regression. It talked about in increasingly, high dropout rates in science courses at colleges and
universities have led to discussions of causes and potential support measures of students. I have
learned that students’ prior knowledge is repeatedly mentioned as the best predictor of academic
achievement. Once prior knowledge and skill is assessed, there is a range of potential responses,
depending upon the type of course, the uniformity of results, and the availability and type of

Today’ activities, I attend the webinar for mental health and I do reading article and write my
professional reading and reflection. In the webinar I learned that Learning Mental health helps me how
to handle stress and depression. I realized that I should give myself a break, manage myself free from
toxic environment and have some time to meditate to think better. Especially these days’ we are so
busy doing our task and activities, I feel pressure and sometimes I felt like I’m floating in the air due to
some reason of not letting myself away of distress.

Now I learned that I need to voice out my problems to somebody will give a good advice and
will abide me to stay positive and fight for the better. I have read article about blended learning: the new
normal and emerging technologies I also learned that instructor-led classroom activities, giving students
more flexibility to customize their learning experiences. As a student before and during the pandemic
blended learning is already implemented as an active and interactive method in integrating the use of
technology. It is started in 21st century the advancement of teaching through the use of digital
technology are relevance that the impact is positive which teaching is effective. Experiencing blended

Today, we have a webinar for identifying psychosocial support and establishing a referral
system in the school community and I learned I have learned about the multi-tiered system of support
which focuses on two areas behavioral and emotional support. This insight will help me as a future
teacher to identify students’ problems and can give support to the solution of the problem. These
strategies can help to identify the psychosocial need of the students, comprehensively screening all
students early in the school year to identify warning signs of problematic behavior. Monitoring the
progress of identified students to ensure interventions are working. As a future teacher, it can be helpful
to lessen the absences of the student, failing grades, and misbehavior of the learners, as early as a
possible teacher should prepare and take action. I have read an article about 2 Ways to Bring Games
into Your Classroom. I learned that teacher has a role in game-based learning that contributes to the
current understanding of the agentive role of the teacher in game-based learning. There is a current
trend to use digital games as a tool to engage students and enhance the learning experience in the

Today we gather again via google meet of our respective groups in action research for the
Crafting of the statement of the problem and then submit it to our research adviser. We discussed
based on the topic and title of our action research. I have read an article about how to teach online so
all students feel like they belong and I learned that covid-19 ejected students from the familiar hustle
and bustle of the classroom into unexpected and prolonged isolation at home. This has destabilized
their lives and challenged their sense of self. We’ve studied what happens when classrooms feel
“identity safe” for students. Our role as teachers is to encourage and motivate learners, especially in
this pandemic. These insights encourage me to push through in accomplishing my teaching skills so
that I can be able to help students to monitor their pulse of each student, educators can check in
regularly by phone or video conferencing to ask them about their feelings and their lives, and to offer
feedback on schoolwork.

Reflection of my daily activities

Today is the last day of making my portfolio and it was a great day to thank God, for keeping
my strength and guiding me throughout my journey. I have read an article about the impact of online
classes on students and I learned that online learning is rapidly becoming one of the most effective
ways to impart education. The impact of the virus was so strong that online education became a
seemingly ubiquitous part of our growing world, which resulted in the closure of schools and no further
physical interaction of teachers with students. One of the biggest challenges of online learning that
many students face is the struggle to focus for long durations on screen. Technology has helped me to
gain in learning, the advancement of technology had impact my learning and the way of teaching.
Online applications and programs have helped both teachers and students to develop new skills and
capabilities that supported them to enhance their knowledge. Online teaching cannot replace the
position of traditional classroom teaching and we will need to get back to traditional teaching after the
pandemic ends.
