Almighty God, send your Holy Spirit
to guide those who will advise
the Holy Father in the selection of the
next Bishop of the Diocese of Fresno.
May he have the zeal of Saint Paul,
the priestly gifts of Saint John Vianney,
the wisdom of a loving father and brother,
and most of all, the heart of your Son,
Jesus.
We ask that the Blessed Virgin Mary
intercede for us, and Saint Therese,
our patroness, join us in this prayer,
which we make through Christ, our Lord.
