Everyone, welcome to “LISTEN UP!”.
Jarey: New afternoon, new topic. Ms. Lorraine, can you tell us what would be our topic for this episode?
Lorraine: For our viewers out there, I think this topic will interest you so much, especially the younger
ones.
Lorraine: The topic that we will be discussing this morning is all about bullying.
Jarey: To help us understand this broad topic, joining us the 6 very special guests. Let us welcome “The
scholars from senior high school”.
(CROWD CLAPPING)
Gilbert: It’s our pleasure to come here and become your guest for today’s episode.
(CLAPPING)
Lorraine: To start this, we will ask you some questions and you will answer them based on your
opinions.
Kirby: For me, Bullying is one of the most relevant topics or issues that we are facing since now and
then.
Roxanne: Bullying is unwelcome, aggressive behavior among school-aged children in which a real or
perceived power imbalance exists. Over time, the conduct is repeated or has the potential to be
repeated.
Lorraine: Now let’s move on to the next questions. For your understanding, what are the negative
effects of bullying? Give me at least 1 negative effect.
Glaiza: how about the other topics, such as teenage pregnancy and many more?
Lorraine: We will discuss that further in our upcoming episodes, but for now we should focus on this
particular topic.
Lorraine: I'll repeat the question, what are the negative effects of bullying? Give me at least 1 negative
effect.
Kenneth: Bullying has a wide range of harmful consequences, many of which we have personally
experienced. Bullying has an impact on a child's ability to learn, based on my personal experience
Jarey: Okay, go on
Fhilmark: Bullying has an impact on a person’s mental health, and the worst part is that it can lead to
depression and suicide.
Jarey: Bullying is an extremely important topic or issue on which we must focus on. Thank you very
much for your responses, students
(5 seconds silence)
Lorraine: Well, I guess no one is a bully here. How about being bullied by others?
Lorraine: The next question would be, what message or messages can you give for those who are
experiencing bullying?
Gilbert: Meeee!!
Jarey: People!
Gilbert: For those people who are experiencing bullying, don't allow it stop you from achieving what
you want to do. Stay positive and don't lose hope.
Lorraine: Thank you for your short but powerful message Gilbert!.
Jarey: Now, for the last question for today’s episode, what can you do to stop bullying?
Glaiza: As a student, I will stop bullying by spreading awareness among our or my peers that bullying is
wrong, that bullying may cause harm, and that bullying is a crime, and that we must all work together to
put an end to it.
Kirby: As a student, we can also be heroes by rescuing and assisting others by informing teachers or by
being a witness and stating the truth to the guidance counselor, parents, and teachers.
Lorraine: Based on your answers, I guess you all have a deep understanding of this topic or issue.
Jarey: Maybe this ends our discussion for today’s episode. Once again, thank you for coming students.

Roxanne: Thank you very much for inviting us as your guests for today's episode.
