Quarter 2 – Module 8
Human Persons as Oriented
Towards Their Impending Death
Lesson 1: How does the reality of death define our
lives? What shall I do before I die? What makes me
happy?
WHAT’S NEW?
Activity 1. RELAX AND REFLECT
Moments Brought Me Joy
● When a typhoon hit our province, I know it was awful to
the point where we lost a source of electricity as a
result of what transpired. When we had no source of
electricity, I would only step outside and just stare at
the night sky and admire all the stars.
● Smoking. I know it sounds strange, but it makes me happy
when it has the potential to kill me.
● Taking psychedelic mushrooms. It made me more stoic than
before.
Moments Brought Me Sadness
● Every night, sadness can build up inside me, that's why I
take mushrooms.
● When someone gives me the love I don’t think I deserve.
●
