Directions: Arrange the steps in creating a Multimedia Presentation. Write the

number in the order they should be done.
Insert and Edit Text (1-5)
_____ Click the text box where you want to insert the text.
_____ Type new text. The text you time replaces the selected text.
_____ Click inside the place text holder. Make sure you click below the title text
placeholder.
_____ View thumbnail images of the slides of your PowerPoint presentation. Click the
Slides in your presentation.
_____ Highlight the text you want to edit. Drag the cursor across a line of the text to
select it.
Insert and Edit Photos (1-5)

_____Open MS PowerPoint and switch to the insert tab. Choose to insert a picture to
the slide.
_____Once the image is imported, Picture tools will get activated and open up the
options to format the image.
_____ Drag the cropping lines and edges to remove the unwanted portions of the
picture.
_____ Click the picture shape and select the shape desired.
_____ the picture gets cropped into the shape chosen the redundant parts get removed.

Creating Hyperlink (1-5)
_____Click OK. The text or image will now be a hyperlink to the slide you selected
_____Right-click the selected text or image, then click hyperlink.
_____The Insert Hyperlink dialog box will appear.
_____On the left side of the dialogue box, click place in this document.
_____A list of the other slides in your presentation will appear. Click the name of the
slide you want to link to.
Creating Hyperlink (1-10)

_____Click CREATE VIDEO
_____Create your presentation.
_____Save the presentation.
_____On the FILE menu, click SAVE & SEND
_____To display all video and size options, under CREATE A VIDEO, click the
COMPUTER & HD DISPLAYS down arrow.
_____To play your newly-created video, go to the designated folder location, and then
double-click the file
_____Click the DON’T USE RECORDED TIMINGS AND NARRATIONS down arrow
and then, do one of the following.
If you did not record and time voice narration and laser pointer movements, click
DON’T USE RECORDED TIMINGS AND NARRATIONS
If you recorded and timed narration and PowerPoint movements, click USE
RECORDED TIMINGS AND NARRATIONS
_____In the FILE NAME box, enter a file name for the video, browse for the folder that
will contain this file and then click SAVE.
_____Under the save &send, click CREATE VIDEO
