COMPOSITION
Writing about a special object:Most of us have owned something that represents special hopes and
dreams in our lives, even if it is less costly than the pearl in Steinbeck's novel.Think about something you
own, have owned, or would like to own. In a three-paragraph composition, describe the object in detail
and explain why it is (or would be) special to you. If the item, however humble it may be, symbolizes a
wish or dream, explain what it represents for you.
Back then when we went to Loreto I found a really pretty rock in the beach at that time i
was really happy because my family is complete during that vacation, it's rare to have every member in
the family together in one place so in memory of that day i kept the rock. When we went home I wrote
the date of the vacation in the rock and display it in my study table so I can see it everytime I'm feeling
down or i miss my family. I look at it and remember all the good times we had on that beach. I even
named it black because the beach where i found it is called black beach resort.
I still have the stone until now and it's the last memory i have for my uncle who already left
this world, he was a really great man and a father to his son and daughter. That's the very last time we
had a vacation in a beach where the family is complete. I value this stone as a memory that i felt so
happy in every seconds of that day. I have no worries and still have no clue of how the world around me
works if I can turn back the time I'd go back to that day where i happily picked up this stone.
