VISITOR GATE PASS USING QR CODE GENERATION

Abstract
The basic idea behind this project is to computerize the communication between the
reception section and the internal office.
This project provides an efficient way of implementing the security system. Using this
system, it is possible to send the information about the visitors to the employee of the
organization. In this project, the employee in the company is provided with the login where
he/she can view the visitor’s information who came to meet them. This project is developed as a
web application where the visitor can add their details to the website and visitors also add the
name of the employee whom he needs to meet. Once the details is been filled, QR code is
generated based on this details and the visitor can show this QR code for scanning at entrance of
the company. Admin is the one who does the verification process where he/she scans the QR
code of the visitor and authenticates it. If the QR code provided by the visitor is correct, then
admin allows him to meet the concerned employee in the company.
In our system, QR code is generated dynamically based on the given details by the
visitor. This is a generalized project so that it can be used in any organization like factories,
colleges etc. this project is developed using PHP as front end and MYSQL as backend.
Advantages
 The proposed system allows the employee to login to view the visitor details.
 QR code is generated dynamically based on the given details by the visitor.
 QR codes ensure security to great extent.
 Less man work is enough.
