- Excessive use of computers to the degree that they mess with everyday life. This
excessive use can, for example, interfere with work or sleep, trigger difficulties with
social interaction, or affect mood, relationships, and think processes.
- Four in ten teens say they’re hooked to the Internet with girls more impacted than
boys, a study showed. The survey, which surveyed more than 2,000 secondary s
pupils aged 11 to 17, showed that 39% say they are addicted to the internet. The
number was 46% higher for girls, while 36% of b felt they were addicted.
- Making two best friends who all know and love to play computer games. One of this
was a video game addict, and the other only likes playing. My computer addict
friend failed every subject, but he’s still in his habit. While the other, when he found

- Limit yourself of using computers for no further deep addiction.
- Give yourself a rest and spend your time with you friends or family.
Carabuena was caught on camera slapping MMDA traffic enforcer Saturnino Fabros after he
was pulled over for a traffic violation. The netizens’ actions are not justifiable. Although
Carabuena did something cruel, people should not wish death upon others.
The incident affected Carabuena’s life that it came to the point where he was rushed to the
hospital after feeling discomfort from the offensive comments that several people gave him
at the Fiscal’s Office. Furthermore, it has greatly impacted his life and his reputation.
● Do you think technology and the internet has made bullying easier?
Yes, just like how technology makes life easier, it can also make bullying easier. Bullies can
spread images or videos to the Internet faster and they can also do it while staying
anonymous.
1. Cite one example in your school or community of teenagers who have experienced
computer addiction. What happened to them? Have they recovered from their addiction?
I had a classmate who is addicted to computer games. He eventually do a cutting class just to
play PC games. Yes, he recovered from his addiction and yet he was addicted to mobile
games instead.
2. Describe the acts of cyber bullying that the netizens did to Carabuena. Do you think their
actions are justifiable? Defend your answer.
Fake profiles ad harassment. Their actions are not justifiable because the netizens sustained,
constant and intentional form of it cyberbullying comprising abusive or threatening
messages sent to Carabuena.
3. Give one suggestion to avoid cyber bullying. Give one suggestion to avoid being a cyberbully.
To avoid cyberbullying do everything you can to limit your interaction with them and try to
show that you are capable of defending yourself. To avoid being a cyberbully, rethink before
doing something that you would regret.
4. Explain why Saturnino Fabros, a 20-year traffic enforcer veteran, was not a victim of
cyberbullying? Instead of Robert Blair Carabuena who was in a video who slapped Saturnino
Carabuena was a victim of cyberbullying because carabuena received a painful comments or
feedbacks from netizens through social media or digital technology. That video that caught
on camera spreaded by the netizens that embarrassed him ending for an hurtful messages
or threats.
