    Waiting through the winter,


    For the snow to melt away.

    Then finally it happened,


    Spring came to save the day.

    The browns and whites are leaving,


    Replaced by pink and blue.

    Purple, yellows, and greens,


    Just to name a few.

    The air is feeling fresher,


    Gardens are waiting for love.

    Birds are chirping loudly,


    From the tops of trees above.

    Bugs are out from hiding.


    Windows are open all day.

    Fresh air all around us,


    Time to get outside and play!
