 Delhi Metro Rail Corporation won the Golden Peacock Environment


Management Award 2005.
 Delhi Metro Rail Corporation became the first Indian company to bag the
World Green Building Council award for demonstrating "Industry
Leadership in Sustainability"
 Delhi Metro Rail Corporation won the Japan International Cooperation
Agency (JICA) President's Award 2012.
 Delhi Metro Rail Corporation won the PSU of the year Award by All India
Management Association (AIMA), 2016.
 Govt awarded Delhi Metro for being ‘Metro Rail with the Best Passenger
Services and Satisfaction in October 2021.
 ISO 14001 EMS (Environmental Management System) Certification during
construction.
 Integrated ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 during operation. (Delhi Metro has
received this recognition consistently since 2002)
 Environment Leadership Award by the United States – Asia.
 National Conservation Awards – Second Prize in Zonal Railways category,
2008.
 ‘Best Clean Development Mechanism Award’ at the Institute of Urban
Transport (IUT) Awards, 2011.
 Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), New Delhi has been awarded the
“Finest India Skill & Talent Award 2017” in recognition for Golden Safety
Award.
 Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA) conferred DMRC the
“Award of Commendable Initiatives” in the category of Best Green
Initiatives in Urban Transport in the Year 2019.
 Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE) conferred DMRC “Outstanding
Green Energy Initiatives in Transport Sector” in the Year 2019.
 DMRC has also been awarded with “Parryware NDTV Property Award,
2016” in Environment Friendly Public Space category for ITO Metro
station..

 The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) awarded Greenbuild Leadership
Award to DMRC for the Year 2017 & 2020..
