The lesson plan aims to enhance students' learning and interpretation of literature by having them watch the movie "The Life of Pi" and relate it to their past experiences. Students will be divided into groups to do role plays of the movie, and will later write an essay analyzing the movie based on what they learned about moral lessons and inspiration. They will be evaluated using a rubric and also assigned to write a 1 paragraph composition about relating a character from the movie to their own experiences.

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to;
 Integrate their knew learning in their past experiences.
 Appreciate the literature and enhance their learning.
 Use what they learn in the literature to perform certain task that are given.

Lesson Proper
Today we are going to have a movie viewing of the movie “The Life of Pi” and after
watching the movie we will have an oral discussion of what is your interpretation and
understanding of the movie.
Teachers activity
The teacher will ask questions to the students through an oral examination, the questions
that the teacher will give are based on the movie that the students have watch.
Learners activity
The students will be divided into four groups and they will use their creativity and
imagination to make a role play of the movie “The Life of Pi”. The students will be given 15
minutes to plan and prepare and after the allotted time they will perform.
IV. Evaluation
The teacher will assign the students to write an essay about the movie the “Life of
Pi” and based on their understanding, learning, moral lessons that they learned and how
do the story inspires them. The students will write an essay that should have four
paragraphs, and in each paragraphs it should be composed in five sentences. The essay
can be encoded or Witten (but make sure it’s clean and no erasure if it’s written). The
teacher will provide the rubrics for the students to see and follow.

V. Assignment
In a ½ peace of paper the students will pick a character in the movie “The Life of
Pi” and they will explain why this certain character is what they have chosen. The
students should also share some past experiences that they can connect to the situations
on the movie. Their composition should be 1 paragraph and should have a minimum of 5
sentences and maximum of 10 sentences.
