4 Pin SOP OptoMOS® Relays

CPC1017N Units Description

Load Voltage 60 V The CPC1017N is a miniature 1-Form-A solid state
Load Current 100 mA
relay in a 4 pin SOP package that employs optically
coupled MOSFET technology to provide 1500V of
Max RON 16 Ω
input to output isolation. The super efficient MOSFET
LED Current to operate 1.0 mA switches and photovoltaic die use Clare’s patented
OptoMOS architecture. The optically coupled input is
controlled by a highly efficient GaAIAs infrared LED.
Features The CPC1017N uses Clare’s state-of-the-art double
• Design for use in security systems complying with molded vertical construction packaging to produce
EN50130-4 the world’s smallest relay. The CPC1017N offers
• Only 1mA of LED current required to operate board space savings of at least 20% over the com-
• Small 4 Pin SOP Package petitor’s larger 4 pin SOP relay. It boasts the indus-
• TTL/CMOS Compatible input tries’ lowest input current to operate in its class.
• No Moving Parts
• High Reliability
• Arc-Free With No Snubbing Circuits
• 1500VRMS Input/Output Isolation/2100V AC peak Approvals
• No EMI/RFI Generation • UL Recognized Component
• Immune to radiated EM fields • BSI Certified to EN60950
• SMD Pick & Place, Wave Solderable
• Tape & Reel Version Available
