The hostel is designed as four-level, linear blocks that snake across a wedge-shaped site, creating organic spaces like the old streets of Mathura, India. The buildings are oriented to generate large north-facing garden areas and each room has a north-facing bay window overlooking a playground. Ventilation openings in the corridors allow cross ventilation. The bending blocks create breakout spaces with natural light. Color accentuates the different blocks and helps identity within the complex.

The orientation of all the buildings are done with a view of
generating large north facing garden areas overlooking a vast playground towards the north. In addition, each hostel room is punctuated with a wedge shaped bay window oriented towards the north and the playground.
