0 INTRODUCTION

Communication is a very important skill in our lives. Not only is it necessary for us to

live our daily lives, but it is also essential in all professional and community activities.

Communication is a vehicle used for knowledge, information and ideas. Through

communication, we can change people's minds.

Communication has long been discussed by individuals, experts and the rest of the

world. The innovations are being experienced by our society today as a result of rapid

economic development. As a result of this reform, it has left many positive and negative

consequences.

Good communication skills are essential in everyday life. The appropriateness of the

place and the time when communicating is also essential when we are with our loved

ones and friends so that we are cherished and loved. Believe that communicating can

also reduce sadness and heartache. Express your feelings of sadness or happiness.

Happiness can be felt by both parties when effective communication is achieved. The

purpose of communication can also be to strengthen the bond of love between family

and fellow human beings. Without good communication then the institution of the

family as well as the whole of humanity. Giving advice, helping and comforting others

can also be fun. Giving praise when other people are receiving awards or honors.

1
2.0 MY EXPERIENCES

In communication, for me, what matters most is the sharing of meaning between

source and recipient.

Personally, I mention that I often apply the theory of humanity in my daily life. This

theory emphasizes on the theory of human relations. We know that interpersonal

relationships are important for effective communication.

I also use communication skills at work. Communication with employers as well as

communication with colleagues is also one of my most common practices. The

communication skills between employers and coworkers are very different.

Therefore, I need to be aware of the important aspects of communicating in order

for the message to be delivered effectively. Likewise, the messages I receive will be used

effectively to help enhance the organizational excellence of the organization in which I

work.

From my experience, as an employee in an organization, I often use different forms

of communication. Terms of communication are often spoken and spoken when

individuals associate something with a relationship. Whether the relationship is two-way

or one-way. Moreover, many are confused about what the term communication really is

in the context of public relations. It is often in conflict with other religions that seem to

have similar but different meanings. Therefore, it is difficult for one to measure,

evaluate, and interpret the exact meaning of a true communication.

It is common knowledge that social relationships in society are shaped by

communication. Communication also has a broader meaning and encompasses many

aspects of life. In life, too, different forms of communication and communication styles

depend on the culture adopted by the individual. Individuals are also not bound by the

various forms of communication that can shape their lives.

2
However, at some level of life there are certain hierarchies that separate the stages

of communication between cultures. Culture also shapes the forms of communication of

a people until they have developed a method for separating social, organizational and

other communication. Similarly, there is a form of religious communication between the

servant to his creator, the human being communicating to his god, Allah s.w.t. The

determinants and barriers to communication depend on the application and the manner

in which the individual applies whether they succeed or not.

Bilateral communication should have a positive effect on both sides. Neither the

boss nor the leader should have an egoist attitude to the post but the responsibility is to

achieve maximum achievement for the organization. The egoist attitude will make a

leader unable to cooperate with subordinates. Subordinate staff are hard to control

when their leader's egoist attitude engulfs their hearts and engenders a sense of

resentment and resentment toward staff in the organization.

Two-way communication will not be achieved if the higher-ups are more responsive

to the needs of the subordinates while the staff also need to be willing to accept the

counsel and views from the chairman with a sincere and genuine heart. The leader's

attitude of revenge and jealousy must be eradicated at times, even reprimanded. An

open attitude needs to be present in every subordinate's heart.

In addition, the importance of communication within the organization is based on

communication ethics. Implementing communication ethics in my work also helps

improve communication.

In human life there are several manners and procedures for communicating and

interacting. When interacting one needs to know some of the relationships that are

being made. To be called a relationship it refers to a relationship between an individual

and another. In the process of communication it is often referred to as communication.

3
Communication is divided into two, mass communication and interpersonal

communication involving individuals and groups.

One of my experiences has been through the media, the internet. Through fast-

paced communication processes from all over the world, the Internet should be a tool

for encouraging stereotypical thinking, and for individuals to be viewed fairly regardless

of religion, race, culture or gender. We are actually moving towards a knowledge-based

economy. In this economy, the main issue is no longer focused on the distribution of

wealth, but the distribution and dissemination of information and media used to

generate wealth. Here the Internet is a major tool.

With the wide variety of information available on the Internet, access really

depends on what you want to find. The implication, of course, is whether the

information is correct, from a legitimate source, half-truth or just a slander and rumor.

When we get into this context, the reality is that every citizen has a civil right. By

definition, civil rights generally include freedom. These terms also include the

responsibility that every citizen bears to the country.

In particular, the Internet has affected the rights of Malaysians through issues of

freedom and privacy. This means that the Malaysian government respects the right to

freedom of speech, the right to express opinion, to whom it is intended and to the

privacy of communication channels, including the Internet, from being viewed or

refined.

What is important is that people and countries use the Internet to enhance the

value of our lives. At the same time, all parties need to make sure that the social process

of forming their own value system is implemented all the time. To this end, social justice

and freedom depend on how Malaysians deal with three basic issues, namely education,

information technology (including the Internet) and freedom of speech.

4
The Internet places information on the existence of various forms and various

interpretations. It connects data in three-dimensional form. It offers a method of

viewing data not only as a text, but as a combination of various media. In turn, the

Internet can provide solutions for users who need frequent updates of information as a

manifestation of the current situation. If we develop this power, it is obvious that

Internet content can be targeted precisely.

One of the advantages of the internet in my daily life as a student is that it opens up

a whole new dimension now as a source of easy and fast reference in terms of time and

location. It almost replaces the old way of learning or finding information that is library

use.

5
3.0 WHAT I CAN LEARN

An opinion states that without the human communication knowledge is able to

communicate. However, that view is instead valued to narrow the position of science. In

fact, communication can help you to play a better role in the community and even

become a job.

That's why almost every university provides communication majors. As such,

communication is not just about talking to individuals or groups, and not just about

communicating messages in a verbal or nonverbal way, but having broad elements and

meanings that can be verbal and nonverbal.

Especially in the midst of the technological advancements of today's internet. As

technology and information evolve, communication science also promises prestigious

work. Just call a journalist, editor, broadcasting, film, advertising, editor, and public

relations (PR).

What I have learned is that in an organization, communication is a unifying element

of all the functions that exist. With the communication channels within the organization,

individuals or groups can not only interact, understand and exchange information with

each other, but also create ongoing collaboration among staff. As such, the efficiency of

an organization's travel depends on how well the communication channel operates.

A communication channel is a message path that flows from one person to another

or from one group to another or both. All organizations use both channels of

communication, both formal and informal. An official channel is a network or

communication chain that determines the direction and flow of official messages among

members and sections of the organization. This formal communication channel is part of

an organizational structure that delivers messages according to the rules, customs,

habits, distribution of authority, rank, and type of duties within the organization.
6
Unofficial communication channels include networks or chains of communication

arising from social relations and friendships in the work environment. This informal

channel is called the grapevine, and is considered the most important informal

communication within the organization.

Usually, communication can be either verbal or verbal that both parties can

understand. However, communication can also be done using body language such as

smiling, head nodding and shoulder lifting.

For me, communication is essential in everyday life for communication, information

delivery and information retrieval. Likewise within the cooperative, effective

communication is essential for every interaction between the members and the co-

workers. This is because effective communication enables the recipient to be confident

about what is being conveyed.

7
4.0 HOW TO REDUCE LEVEL OF ANXIETY

We all experience dizziness and anxiety over time. For most people, panic, phobia,

nervousness, nervousness or anxiety are common and only temporary.

But for some of us, anxiety is so frequent that it begins to turn into an abnormal

disorder.

When you have anxiety disorders, you have anxiety all day long and the feeling

persists for six months. It can be too chronic to convey even trivial daily things. This will

cause your daily activities to be disrupted while the body and mind are tired.

Problems that make you lose your eyesight or stay awake are usually related to a

variety of physical or psychological conditions.

If we want to deal with something important the next day, it is normal to feel a bit

nervous or excited so it is difficult to lose our eyes. But if you are constantly waking up,

worrying and thinking about the problem of not being able to sleep or getting carried

away in a dream until you are constantly awake, this is one of the signs of 'anxiety

disorder'.

Persistent muscle tension is one of the signs of anxiety disorder. These symptoms

can occur due to the body's response to excessive stress. It can occur frequently until

the patient considers it normal.

Anxiety may start from your mind but it may present other physical symptoms such

as irritable bowel syndrome, a condition that has symptoms such as stomach aches,

muscle cramps, bumps, stomach cramps, constipation, or diarrhea. These are all

problems that start from the stomach which is sensitive to psychological stress.

The physical and social discomfort caused by these digestive problems can also

make one feel anxious.

Someone with 'anxiety disorder' usually likes to hold back their feelings. But when
8
anxiety or something interferes with his or her feelings, it causes a nervous breakdown

such as sudden anger, screaming, or anger that leads to shame and fear.

In addition, some people often faint when under stress.

No matter how many positive things are said about a person's work or self, 'anxiety

disorder' causes one to tend to focus only on the negative.

As a result, one will have a tendency to be overly narcissistic and obsessive about

perfection and fear of failure.

Panic attacks can be scary because they are similar to heart attacks. A person who

has a 'panic attack' will have difficulty breathing, chest pain, dizziness, sweating, chills,

pounding heart, abdominal pain and weak body.

Not everyone who has this panic attack has anxiety disorder, but those who have it

over and over again need to see a doctor to confirm it.

In addition to worrying about the problems that are currently being faced, people

with anxiety disorders are often overwhelmed by past events that often overwhelm

their minds.

This can be the reason why you have a hard time trusting someone and can have a

deep relationship with someone you consider special. In fact, family relationships may

also be affected or widened. You may do so unknowingly because you are too scared to

be hurt or afraid of losing them.

Here's how to deal with anxiety disorders:

9
Get to know the signs of anxiety

It's worth noting, the symptoms of anxiety disorder are as above. From these signs,

are you experiencing some of the same symptoms? See to yourself whether the

symptoms are mild, moderate or severe. Do these symptoms very often you know it

only occasionally. Think back to how those symptoms occurred, and in what situations.

Get to know the kind of anxiety

You also need to identify the types of anxiety disorders in order to classify them.

After recognizing the symptoms of anxiety you feel, are you in the classification of which

type of anxiety disorder you are in? That way you can identify and find out more about

these types of anxiety disorders and find ways to resolve them.

Soak your feet in warm water

After a day of work and a tedious routine, relax yourself to soak your feet in warm

water. Warm water gives a relaxing effect, killing the germs on the feet. Soaking your

feet in warm water gives your body comfort and forgets how tired it was that day.

Create a comfortable layout

People with anxiety disorders have stress or stress on their minds. Clean your home,

so it will be clean and comfortable. Discard items that may no longer be needed and tidy

up the remaining items. Under tight conditions, this will reduce your stress and make it

easier to look for something that will not trigger panic.

10
Exercise regularly

Exercise keeps your body and mind fresh and healthy. Exercise regularly, at least 30

minutes daily. Exercise helps to stretch and tighten your body muscle so it is ready to be

used again for activity. Exercise makes the body's circulation smoother and eliminates all

stress on the mind and relieves anxiety. Do lightweight exercises like jogging, swimming,

or more.

Uses Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy has a relaxing effect on the body and mind. Put aromatherapy in a

place where you often relax. Aromatherapy also improves your sleep quality and

relieves anxiety.

Many smiles

Smiling has many benefits. Smoking can relieve stress and boost your positive and

optimistic mindset. With a smile, you will feel peace and you will no longer feel anxious.

Drink green tea

Green tea contains the substance L-theanine which is part of the amino acid. This

substance is useful for relaxing the body and feelings. Tea is also used for further

relaxation in warm conditions. Green tea has a higher content of theanine than other

types of tea.

Warm water bath

Warm water baths have the effect of releasing your body's muscle tension and
11
refreshing your mind from stress. Even anxiety will disappear and your body will feel

lighter. Warm water baths before going to bed at night, will also provide good quality

sleep for your body and mind.

Tell someone nearby

When you have excessive anxiety or tired thoughts, talk to people close to you such

as your family, friends, or others. With storytelling, the burden of the mind becomes

light and the anxiety decreases. But be aware, it's a good idea to avoid social media.

Instead of giving you peace, it will only make things worse. So it is advisable to talk

about the feelings to those closest to you face to face. That would be a lot better.

Avoid excessive caffeine

Excessive caffeine consumption is bad for the body and mind. Examples of caffeine

include coffee. Excessive consumption of coffee will worsen the state of anxiety. Coffee

has the effect of stimulating heart function faster, thus increasing anxiety. Avoid coffee

consumption when your mind is tired.

Don't think too much and analyze it

Some people have the ability to analyze themselves and others and the

environment well. But too much analysis also has a bad effect on the mind. People who

are good at analyzing and thinking too much, cause a lot of anxiety. The results of his

analysis are not always right and tend to make him worry more about what he should do

and what he is doing right for others, and so on. We recommend that you avoid this

habit just because you are worried.

12
Adopt a healthy lifestyle

Establish a healthy lifestyle by eating nutritious foods such as fruits and vegetables.

Consuming lots of white water, and exercising regularly. A healthy lifestyle has a positive

impact on your body and your mind.

Sleep enough

Sleep is simply defined as optimal and quality sleep. Old sleep is not necessarily

quality, so good sleep is quality. Quality sleep is a sufficient amount of sleep, and the

body feels refreshed after waking up. The only way to get quality sleep is to stay away

from smartphones or other electronics before going to bed. Sleep on time and wake up

on time. Lack of sleep gives negative effects to your body such as fatigue, irritability,

moodiness, anxiety, and more.

Avoid negative thoughts

Avoiding negative thoughts is by being busy. Stop creating or analyzing situations,

and do your best. Avoid thinking of bad things as they will cause more anxiety. Exercise

yourself with positive thoughts that constantly inspire your body.

Don't eat too late

It seems that too late to eat can also lead to excessive anxiety. When food is

delayed and stomach is empty, gastric acid will increase. Increased gastric acid will

produce gastric gas. This condition causes the lungs to be tight, cold sweat, heart rate,

and recurrent anxiety disorders. He has an 80% emergency anxiety disorder.

Avoid junkfood
13
Avoid the consumption of unhealthy foods and drinks such as fries, ready-to-eat

foods, caffeinated drinks, preservatives, and more. Unhealthy body condition stems

from unhealthy foods being consumed. When the body is not feeling well, then the

mind also becomes disturbed and increases the likelihood of recurrent anxiety

disorders.

Avoid sleeping too late

Avoid sleeping too late because nighttime sleepiness is not good for your body. The

brain that is supposed to rest is still functioning, which could interfere with its

performance. If the brain is used too much, the stress and stress of the mind will

accumulate and the packing will increase.

Relaxation therapy

Do relaxation therapy to neutralize your mind and ease your anxiety. Some simple

relaxation techniques that can be done at any time are deep breathing techniques. If

you feel overwhelmed, do some breathing exercises. The trick is to take a deep breath

and breathe slowly, doing it several times until your mind is calmed down and your

anxiety decreases.

Vacation Destinations

In the midst of your day to day activities, don't forget to take a day off. You can take

a family vacation to the beach or the mountains. Both of these places are great for

relieving stress and stress. Take a moment to forget about your daily busyness and enjoy

the fresh air and blowing breeze.

14
5.0 CHARACTERISTIC OF GOOD COMMUNICATOR

Human relationships are based on good and effective communication. Through

communication we can understand ourselves and others. In order to develop and

develop our potential we must communicate. Communication activities can make us

more constructive and helpful to others. Communication is about building relationships

15
with other people.

In this communication, there are seven basic features used to convey information to

both parties. Some of the features that are central to communication are:

Greetings

When an individual or ourselves meets with another person, we need to make a

greeting that will create communication between the two. With greetings such as a

good morning greeting, it will indirectly allow both parties to communicate. At the same

time, the process of giving and receiving information has also begun with the greetings

and greetings of someone.

Sincere and honest attitude in the individual will also shape communication

If we are dishonest and sincere, then communication may not be possible because

no one will trust an individual if we are not honest. So in order to overcome these

obstacles, honesty and sincerity are essential to each individual. How can

communication exist when honest and honest is not with an individual? Therefore, in

order to establish communication between the two parties, honesty and sincerity must

be present in today's society so that communication can be established and will foster

friendships among the community.

Active listening

We need to be good listeners. Not only that, we also have to be active listeners so

that what we have received can be applied in ourselves. If an individual communicates

with another person but does not actively listen, then that communication is hindered

because the person receiving the information does not pay attention and listen. This will
16
cause the recipient to receive less information because they are not actively listening

and may misinterpret the information.

Ask questions that others like

By asking the questions you like, this communication will become more interesting.

It will also make the discussion more meaningful and both parties will understand the

information provided and received from both sides. With the questions asked, this will

allow a problem to be solved easily and establish indirect communication in our daily

lives.

Smiles and tears

It can also create communication between the two parties. For example, giving

someone a smile will show that we respect others and also show our culture. By smiling

and showing a mime to someone, the person will understand something we are facing.

So in this case, of course, the other party will rebuke and ask for us, and there will be

direct communication. Communication will also occur as a smile makes someone greet

us.

Non-verbal expressions

Basically, there are two types of messages used in communication namely verbal

and non-verbal messages. Verbal messages are verbal and written messages. In

contrast, non-verbal messages are messages that are conveyed in ways other than

verbal and written. Whether it is facial expression, appearance, blinking, touch, elation,
17
distance, body movement and so on.

Well, in order for us to be good communicators we have to apply non-verbal

messages. In order to be successful communicators, all we have to do is:

 Physical appearance

Physical appearance here includes fashion and makeup. Physical appearance here doesn't

have to be handsome or pretty, it doesn't have to be formal and expensive. However, it does

look right where we are, depending on the context of the situation and place. Dress quickly

and cleanly.

 Explicit Face Expression

Face expression is very important in message delivery. Of course my fellow readers have

been to a forum or talked to someone who has a flat face. Even without expression. We as

listeners tend to get bored and confused with such speakers. The listener will be more

interested in expressive communicators - those who are good at playing the emotions of the

listener by bringing a change in their facial expressions to the message that comes out of

their mouth.

Listeners will be more comfortable and attracted to speakers with clear facial expression

dynamics. Good facial expressions when speaking are in keeping with the message being

conveyed. The good news is that you can convey it with a binary face. The sad news is

conveyed by a sad face.

 Eye Contact

It's important to maintain eye contact when communicating. Keep our eye contact on the

object of our opponent. Don't be lazy. Don't turn your face away. Don't bow down. Don't get

busy with other objects. By maintaining eye contact, the speaker will feel valued and

acknowledged for his or her existence.

18
6.0 CONCLUSION

On the whole, communication is the art of transmitting information, ideas and

attitudes from one person to another. Communication involves senders, recipients,

media, messages, feedback and controls.

Human communication can be improved through a number of ways, by observing,

19
listening to what is written and by responding.

In every human life, relationships play an important role in making it easier for

people to interact with one another. In the context of a relationship, the term

communication is an appropriate expression in determining the form of the relationship.

Over the centuries, humans have interacted with each other using communication

interventions. Humans are well aware of the importance of communication between

humans. The importance of communication has been a catalyst for the development of

community relations so that human society is thriving, dynamic and competitive.

Human societies communicate to achieve their own aspirations in their lives, thus

forming the communal traditions of a people. Some people have certain language codes

used in their communication. Originally a language was a process of communication that

has been rooted since man was born so that he can speak fluently. In this context,

speaking in a language that is understood by others is a process of communication.

People understand a language according to their race and the communication process

can go smoothly without interruption.
