Not ‘The equalization switch @ must be set to the “on"* (4a) position, otherwise the frequency response cannot be controlled. © Power switch (power) This switch can be used to turn the power on and off © Equalization switch (EQ) ‘This switch can be used to turn the equalization circuitry on and off, i the switch is set to the “oft” position(.m—), input signals are sent directly to the output terminals, without passing through the frequency-equalization circuitry. When this switch is set to the “off” position (=), the band-level controls ® can be set to any posi- tion without affecting the signals, and signals can be heard even if the power switch @ Is inthe “off” position. The efficiency of this unit can be easily checked by alternately setting this ewitch to the “on” and “of positions. ‘See the “Operation” section of the separate sheet for further information This selector can be used to change the adjustment range of the frequency-response level from +12 dB to +8 dB, or from 2 +3 dB to +12 dB. For instance, when this selector is set to the 3 “12 dB" (m—_)position and the band-level controls ® ar 3 set as shown in figure 1, set this selector to the "+3 dB' = (4 =) position in order to change the trequency-response level as shown in figure 2.
