Pattern:
What + does/do + Subject + look like?
Catatan:
Does untuk subject → He, She, It, The teacher, My father, The cat, Doni
Do untuk subject → I, You, We, They, The teachers, The cats, Dona and Doni
Contoh:
1. What does your father look like?
2. What do the cats look like?
Contoh jawaban:
1. My father is tall and handsome. He has white skin and slanted eyes.
2. They have soft fur and round eyes.
B. Bertanya tentang sifat seseorang/binatang

Pattern:
What + to be (is/am/are) + Subject + like?
Contoh:
1. What is your father like?
2. What are the cats like?
Contoh jawaban :
1. My father is friendly and generous.
2. They are playful and funny.
C. Bertanya tentang situasi/kondisi barang/tempat

Pattern:
What + to be (is/am/are) + Subject + like?
Catatan:
I → am
You, We, They → are
He, She, It → is
Dona → is
Dona and Doni → are
The teacher → is
The teachers → are
The cat → is
The cats → are
Contoh:
1. What is the traditional market like?
2. What are the bags like?
Contoh jawaban:
1. It is very crowded.
2. They are new and luxurious.
D. Kata-kata sifat untuk mendeskripsikan seseorang/binatang/benda/tempat
Silakan dipelajari kata-kata sifat yang ada di LKPD halaman 2, 3, 4.
E. Cara menyusun kalimat dengan kata kerja (Verb)

Pattern:
Subject + Verb 1 + Object/Complement + Adverb.
Catatan:
1. Subject : I, You, We, They, The teachers, The cats, Dona and Doni → Kata Kerja
tidak ditambah s/es
2. Subject : He, She, It, The teacher, The cat, Doni→ Kata Kerja ditambah s/es
3. Yang ditambah “es” adalah kata kerja yang huruf belakangnya = o, sh, ch, s, x, z
Contoh:
1. I go to school by bus every day.
2. She goes to school by bus every day.
3. My mother cooks delicious food every morning.
4. I cook chicken soup every weekend.
F. Mengubah kalimat dengan kata kerja ke negatif dan pertanyaan.
Pattern 1
(Negative):
Subject + do not + verb 1 + object/complement + adverb.
(Interrogative):
Do + Subject + verb 1 + object/complement + adverb ?
(Untuk Subject = I, You, We, They, The teachers, Dona and Doni, The cats)
Contoh:
(+) You have breakfast every morning.
(-) You do not have breakfast every morning.
(?) Do you have breakfast every morning?
Jawaban: Yes, I do.
No, I don’t.
Pattern 2
(Negative):
Subject + does not + verb 1 + object/complement + adverb.
(Interrogative):
Does + Subject + verb 1 + object/complement + adverb ?
(Untuk Subject = He, She, It, The teacher, Doni, The cat)
Contoh:
(+) She washes her clothes every morning.
(-) She does not wash her clothes every morning.
(?) Does she wash her clothes every morning?
Jawaban: Yes, She does.
No, She doesn’t.
G. Cara menyusun kalimat dengan to be (is, am, are)
Pattern:
Subject + to be + noun/adjective/adverb.
Catatan:
I → am
You, We, They → are
He, She, It → is
Dona → is
Dona and Doni → are
The teacher → is
The teachers → are
The cat → is
The cats → are
Contoh:
1. I am beautiful.
2. It is a book.
3. They are in the classroom.
H. Cara mengubah kalimat dengan to be ke negatif dan pertanyaan.

Pattern:
(Negative)
Subject + to be + not + noun/adjective/adverb.
Contoh:
1. I am not beautiful.
2. It is not a book.
3. They are not in the classroom.
(Interrogative)
To be + Subject + noun/adjective/adverb ?
Contoh:
1. Am I beautiful?
2. Is it a book?
3. Are they in the classroom?

How much = Berapa banyak (untuk benda yang tidak bisa dihitung satu per satu)
How far = Seberapa jauh
How long = Seberapa lama/panjang
How often = Seberapa sering
