PEACE AND ORDER SITUATION REPORT


February 2022

I. GENERAL:

This report presents the prevailing peace and order situation in the Municipality
of Angono Rizal for February 2022 in comparison with February 2021 & with January
2022. This also contains crime trends and analysis, investigation accomplishments, and
assessment of the current situation.

II. INVESTIGATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

A. Crime Trend

1. Crime Volume

Based on CIRAS, for the period covering February 1-28, 2022, a total twenty-six
(26) crime incidents were registered as compared to Thirty (30) crime incidents in the
same period last year (February 2021).

Out twenty-six (26) crime incidents recorded for February 2022, eight (8) were
Index crimes with an increase of three (3) crime incidents or 60 % as compared to five
(5) Index crimes recorded in January 2022.

The remaining eighteen (18) were non-index crimes representing a decrease of


one (1) crime incidents or 5.26 % compared to nineteen (19) non-index crimes registered
in January 2022 and had a decreased of seven (7) crime incidents or 28 % compared to
twenty-five (25) non-index crimes recorded in the previous year (February 2021).

2. Average Monthly Crime Rate

The Crime Volume twenty-six (26) crime incidents for FEBRUARY 2022
registered an Average Monthly Crime Rate (AMCR) of 19.92 incidents per 100,000
populations showing a decrease of 3.07 compared to AMCR of February 2021 (22.99),
and an increase of 1.53 compared to the AMCR of January 2022 (18.39).

3. Crime Solution and Crime Clearance

Out of the total crime volume twenty-six (26) crime incidents reported in
this Municipality during the period covered, twenty-five (25) crimes were cleared
registering 96.15 % Crime Clearance Efficiency (CCE). Out of twenty-five (25) cleared
cases, twenty-four (24) were solved with 92.30 % Crime Solution Efficiency (CSE).

4. Discussion and Analysis of Crime Statistics

Figure 2 shows that, out twenty-six (26) crime incidents from PNP
Blotter/Traffic, eigth (8) index crimes are broken down into three (3) or 27 % of pie. Most
prevalent crime for the month were theft with two (2) contributing 18 % of the pie chart.

From the recorded total crime incidents for the period in review, eighteen (18) or
69 % are non-index crimes, all were Violation of Special Laws.

All crime incidents recorded for the month in the review were properly
investigated and 100% reported.

For the period in review, six (6) cases of RA 9165, one (1) case of illegal
numbers game, one (1) case of violation of Omnibus Election Code and one (1)
violation of RA 10591 were recorded. Likewise, all the cases were filed at the Rizal
Provincial Prosecutor’s Office Taytay, Rizal.

III. ANALYSIS:

Continuous communication/meetings and dialogues with the Security


Officers/Managers and business owners/management of business establishment are
being conducted to address the occurrence of crimes in said places specifically for theft
and robbery cases. Further, the continued conduct of visitation and dialogue within
barangays and homeowners’ association of different subdivisions so that appropriate
security measures can be undertaken. Conduct Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law
Enforcement Operations (SACLEO), implementation of strict anti-illegal drugs and
gambling operations, and operation against motorcycle-riding criminals (MRC). This
office will implement the continuous distribution of IEC materials as part of the anti-
criminality campaign for the prevention of crimes within the area of responsibility.
This Office through the guidance and supervision of the Provincial Director
continuously enhanced its interventions not only in police operations but also the police-
community relations to prevent the occurrence of crimes within AOR in coordination with
the LGUs and other stakeholders of the community.
