Class- X Subject-Social Science

TOPICS OF THE PROJECT

A- Consumer awareness
B- Sustainable development

Students will prepare any one project from the above topics-

General Instructions:-

1. This project is part of your internal assessment of 20/30 Marks.


2. The marks of the project will be taken with consideration for promotion to
the next class and in internal grading for Board examination.
3. Project should be neat and clean and hand written.
4. The Projects file should be ‘Practical File’ and covered with chart paper.
5. On the cover page of your project file, you have to furnish all the details
regarding Project/Assignment.
6. Do not use colourful pages. Only interleave pages may be used.
7. The length of the project should be, for class X (12 to 14 pages) and for XII
(25 to 30 pages). It should 5 to 6 pictures, essentials materials, pie-chart,
graph, diagram, etc.
8. You should not use red and green pen for writing text but may be used in
diagrams pie chart, the graph etc.
9. Structure of Project:-
(A) Cover Page- School Name & Address, Subject, Topic, Student’s Name &
Roll No, Class & Section.
(B) Contents/Index
(C) Acknowledgement/Preface
(D)Introduction/Subject matter of the project-
(E) Main Body of the project- Topic description, use of questionnaire,
observation, Pie chart, diagram, graphical representation, etc.
(F) Summary and concluding remarks- personal views and conclusion by
students.
(G) Bibliography i.e. internet, NCERT books, News paper, you tube etc.
(H) Teacher’s Observation/ Remarks A blank page with heading.
