CAAMNHS - Program Proposal SHS

The document proposes a contact tracing program called TRACE for CERIACO A. ABES Memorial National High School. The program aims to improve contact tracing procedures by generating individual QR codes for students and staff, scanning codes when entering campus, and creating a secure database of contact details. It will be implemented from January to December 2022 with a budget of 10,320 pesos from school funds. The program expects to establish an improved contact tracing process, contact tracing tools integrated with information and communication technology, and a database of contact information for students, staff and visitors.

Project SHELF (Senior High School Enhanced Learning Facilities) is designed to provide students and school personnel with
adequate learning facilities and safe environment. These will offer extra learning, leisure opportunities, and comfort for the whole
school (Ibrahim, et al., 2015). Moreover, school facilities must consider the safety aspects to ensure the high level of safety among
the school community thus, the existence of Program TRACE (Tracking Real-time Accounts of Contacts for the School SEcurity).

Program TRACE is designed to improve the contract tracing process thru tools that will create a database of contact details of
school-goers including students, school personnel and visitors.

With this program, we are expected to conduct the following activities:

• Individual QR code will be generated based on the existing contact information of the senior high school students and school
personnel.
• Contact information of other school-goers will be sent to the ICT coordinator to be able to generate their respective QR code prior
to the implementation of the program.
4 Program/Activity Description
• School-goers will declare the specific location/s or person/s to visit.
• QR codes will be scanned every time they enter the school premise to keep track of the date and time of their entry.
• Using the improved ICT tracing tool and the established database, these data will be easily accessible in case of emergency.

To ensure the success of this activity, 6 male, and 19 female school personnel have been consulted on their contact tracing
preferences using a survey form. One hundred percent (100%) of the school personnel agreed on the mentioned program and are
expected to participate in the program.

Furthermore, 75 male and 47 female students, as well as male and female school-goers will benefit from the said program.

Monitoring and Evaluation of the activity will be implemented by the School Monitoring and Evaluation team. Result of the
monitoring will be provided to the proponents and to the SDO.

Objectives The project aims to:

1. improve the existing contact tracing procedure
2. integrate ICT tools for quick access and monitoring of real-time data of school-goers
