Graduation PRAYER

This prayer thanks God for the gift of life and blessings received. It asks God for continued guidance, purpose, and strength as the students enter the next phase of their lives after graduating from high school. The prayer acknowledges God's presence on their celebration of success and completion of their academic year, despite challenges. Almighty and loving Father, Creator of heaven and earth, our divine protector, we thank you for

the gift of life that you have showered upon us. We thank you for your divine providence and
your unending love that keep us going. We thank you for your grace that sustains us even in
life’s adversaries. We thank you for your words that hold us through in every circumstance we
are facing, and we are grateful for the hope that you have built in our hearts to see a brighter
tomorrow.
Today, as we celebrate one of the best days of our lives, help us to always remember that you
are the source of all the blessings we have received and yet to receive. We pray that we can
use all the skills and capabilities that you bestowed on us to make this world a better place for
your glory. Help us to create a world full of love and be a light and smile to those who are in
need. Help us not to lean on our own understanding, but in every way, allow us to always
acknowledge you knowing that you have better plans for us. We pray that you will continue to
give us direction, purpose, and perseverance as we enter the next phase of our lives. Give us
more strength to move forward into the plans and purposes you have laid for us.
Dear Lord, we acknowledge your presence today as we celebrate success, we believe that today
is a fruit of burning the midnight oil and despite all the challenges we have encountered this
year, still you remain faithful and true to your words. We thank you for the completion of this
academic year and for allowing us to experience an extraordinary moment of being grade 12
learners in this new normal education. We believe that everything has a reason and a purpose
to what is happening today in our society. We know that you are working and weaving things
together for good.
As we leave the corners of Jimalalud National High School, may we carry with us the values and
knowledge that had been taught to us, the successes and failures that molded us how to
succeed. May we walk humbly as we strive toward excellence and make our steps forward to
fulfill our goals in life. Bless our parents, teachers, classmates and as well as those who
supported us in this journey. Continue to bless all the people who have been the wind beneath
our wings and help them not to get weary to have hearts ready to help. Make us see the
servant heart in you Lord and set you as an example to serve other people. Give us the strength
to be vulnerable, the courage to care and the wisdom to love. Strengthen our faith to fully trust
in you alone.
This day, we bring back all the glory and honor to you. We glorify you with everything that we
have – for the triumph and successful completion, for the sweats that have been paid off and
for the smiles that painted happiness to every heart.
May your name be lifted.
You have been our guide and protector, you surrounded us with your divine protection and
covered us with your blood. We pray that you will help us walk into the future with faith, hope
and great love.
All this we pray in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and personal savior forever and ever,
AMEN.
