The Cooperating Teacher (CT) is defined as a teacher with a minimum of three
years of teaching experience who acts as a mentor in the teaching internship program
in the area in which the teaching intern is earning her degree. The CT serves as a
model in all aspects of teaching and learning.

These help me also to be mindful in every decision I made as an intern. With
these, it gives me an idea of how education affects the life of every individual. I
must extra efforts as an intern to achieve the expectation of my cooperating
teacher. It will help me in my future battle to be a successful educator someday.

Every school has a Policy. This policy should be updated and changed in nesessary. As
an intern, it is essential that I keep myself up-to-date in school policies and procedures.
It is also important to realize that every school is different. They have different needs
and their students have different issues. That is why policy has impact most the school
performance. A policy that will work in one institution may not be as effective in
another institution. Students will be a guided with school policies and procedures to be
a good and responsible learner.

Good day!
As your teaching intern, I just want to let you know how much I appreciate your efforts
and hard work for me to learn the necessary things that are important in my future work
as a professional educator like you. Your guidance provides me the opportunity to be
able to engage myself in teaching and improve it in a creative way. I know it is hard
being a cooperating teacher especially on this time of pandemic that we are doing a
distance learning approach in education. But then, you are still there to impart your
knowledge and skills for my improvement. I am so grateful that you are my cooperating
teacher. Not just because of your kindness but on the same nature of choice in
education. We both love math and that’s why we understand each other’s side. The fear
and nervousness that I felt before my deployment as an intern was replaced by
excitement and joy because of what personality that you have. I am looking forward to

What is the impact of this letter to me as a teaching intern?


- This letter has a great impact to me as an intern. My cooperating teacher plays an
important role in my teaching intern’s life. Cooperating teachers are the one who
motivates interns to do things that will improve the teaching skills, character, and virtues
of the interns. As a teaching interns, I will follow all the instructions of my cooperating
teacher because I know it is for my betterment and improvement of my knowledge, skills
and values towards on becoming an effective and efficient educator someday.

- “As your cooperating teacher, I am glad to your message to me” she said. My letter to
my cooperating teacher makes her feel important as an educator. This mean that that
we, learners, must be appreciative enough to appreciate the worth of a teacher. Teacher
