GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS.
All security personnel of SIS Securities deployed at the facility will ensure that
they are fully conversant with client’s business activities and its related security
requirements. Hence the security staff will observe/ensure the following:

The Security staff of SIS securities will strictly observe that they:-
2. Are punctual and arrive 15 minutes before the start of their shifts/duties.
5. Security in charge has to monitor whether all are aware of the site and
post instructions.
8. Will not drink on duty and do not allow the workers to drink on duty.
10.Will not leave the post until the reliever comes to the post.

DUTIES OF SUPERVISOR – MAIN GATE
2. Ensure that all the persons (including officials) moving via main gate should
have authentication and check them thoroughly before allowing inside.
5. Any material taken out of the premises should be checked for gate pass,
invoice etc., and seal the same.
6. Check the material quantity, type of material etc., by comparing it with the
invoice or gate pass.
7. On the arrival of visitor, get permission from concerned person, check the
visitor, make entry in the Register, issue pass and then allow the visitor
inside the premises.
12.Stop any unauthorized person or vehicles outside the main gate and
immediately inform to Officials.

DUTIES OF SECURITY GUARD – MAIN GATE
1. Check the duty post and the things under custody before handing over /
taking over.
a. G.D.
b. Key Register.
f. Water register
7. Check all the personnel thoroughly during their IN and OUT time.
10.Check the vehicles thoroughly and note its number and other details in the
Register.

14.Persons arrived to the port through the ship (including foreigners) should not
be allowed outside the Main gate.
16. Check for the customs seal and signature, before the egress of Coal and
Sugar vehicle.
1. Ensure that all guards are at their duty post and update in the Duty Note.
b. Check whether the visitor can be allowed, with the Official in-charge.
d. Issue Visitor pass and allow them to meet the concerned person.
5. Collect the details about the number of Contractors and Contract labors
working on a particular day and fill up the head count details.
7. Ensure S/Gs are deployed TRP Godown of Nagore Railway Station and
record their details.

8. If S/G deployed at Nagore Railway station is in need of help, inform to
Supervisor.
1. Check the area and the materials under custody before handing over/taking
over.
1. Check the materials kept under custody of S/Gs with the inventory list,
while taking over /handing over of duty.
2. Record, the Reg. Number of the vehicle and the quantity of Petrol being
filled in the vehicle in the register.
5. Ensure the diesel in the tanker lorry came to unload diesel is fully emptied.

DUTIES OF SECURITY GUARD – NORTH BACK WATER
1. Check the materials kept under custody of S/Gs with the inventory list,
while taking over /handing over of duty.
2. Ensure that the fishermen are not entering the Port through North Back
Water Area.
4. Ensure the batter of the solar light in the tower is not stolen.
1. Collect all necessary information from the reliever before taking over the
duty.
2. Check the Godown, whether it is locked and sealed before signing the Duty
Taken over Register.
6. Record the Reg. No. of the loaded lorry, driver name and other details in the
Register.
8. Note the name of the officials coming for night check and the time of arrival
in the G.D.

DUTIES OF SECURITY GUARD – BIRTH – I & II
3. Do not allow officials or workers without wearing safety shoes and helmet.
5. No persons should go beyond the yellow line marked in the Birth area.
6. Ensure that all vehicles are parked outside the birth area.
9. Passengers from the ship are not allowed to enter the Birth area.
10. Do not allow alcohol or the person who consumed alcohol inside the birth
area.
1. Check the materials kept under custody of S/Gs with the inventory list,
while taking over /handing over of duty.
3. Instruct the vehicles plying in the port area to maintain 20 K/H speed.
4. Instruct the drivers of the vehicles (loaded with two wheeler) to get their
vehicles sealed from the Customs Gate.
6. Make the vehicles parked on the roadside until it is verified and sealed by
the Customs Department.

DUTIES OF SECURITY GUARD – MARINE CONTROL GATE
1. Should have complete knowledge about the officials working in the Marine
Control Area.
3. Should avoid trespassingof local villagers into the premises through sea.
